You might wanna...[edit]

Add something about the fact that he helped Sakurai make the prototype for Smash 64. Changing the head icon used. No biggie.Aidan, Master of Speed and AuraPer Request, for User:Aidanzapunk. 22:09, 26 August 2015 (EDT)

Alright. I'll hit that at some point. Serpent King (talk) 22:28, 26 August 2015 (EDT)

Suggestion[edit]

Kind of off subject, but his passing happened 4 days before my birthday, really messed me up. Anyway, I feel his memorable quote should be put on the page too as a quote thingy, whatever it's called. Bulbaboy (talk) 21:39, 27 August 2015 (EDT)

I can do that. It probably won't be hard to find the quote. And I think I know exactly what quote you're referring to. Changing the head icon used. No biggie.Aidan, Master of Speed and AuraPer Request, for User:Aidanzapunk. 21:41, 27 August 2015 (EDT)
I don't? what is it? SerpentKing (talk) 21:41, 27 August 2015 (EDT)
It's "On my business card, I am a corporate president. In my mind, I am a game developer. But in my heart, I am a gamer. " —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bulbaboy (talkcontribs) 21:42, August 27, 2015 (EDT)
That's the one. Didn't he say that at like E3 2005? Changing the head icon used. No biggie.Aidan, Master of Speed and AuraPer Request, for User:Aidanzapunk. 21:43, 27 August 2015 (EDT)
I think so. If you're not sure though I'm sure it says when he said it somewhere online. Bulbaboy (talk) 21:44, 27 August 2015 (EDT)
Ah, yes, ok SerpentKing (talk) 21:45, 27 August 2015 (EDT)

About the article icon[edit]

The article icon for the page says he was involved in the series as a whole, but he didn't work on Ultimate because he passed, it also says that on the article of Ultimate. For personal use. George Jones Walls Can Fall.jpg 19:32, 23 July 2018 (EDT)

I'd say because he was involved with developing some of the core mechanics of the Smash series, it's fine to credit him for everything even as we get games following his passing. Ultimate still uses mechanics Iwata had a hand in creating and perfecting. TheNuttyOne 19:38, 23 July 2018 (EDT)
