Talk:Pause

Do tournaments require Pause to be turned off? If anyone knows, they should add it to the article. WaluigiIsAwesome 19:01, January 3, 2007 (GMT)

I wouldn't know, but I think some do because it can easily be used to time off other people's combos and ruin them. You wouldn't want to be in the middle of a combo and have someone pause and unpause it just to ruin you, would you? Zordon123456789mlw7 (talk) 23:05, December 13, 2009 (UTC)

That's not what a personal attack is. Harsh language does not automatically equate to a personal attack unless the person is directly insulting the user in question, which this post is not doing. If we are to follow the logic of your arguments on Talk:Crush, that article names should be nouns where possible, then the article name we currently have here is exactly that. The fact that the first word of the article is "Pausing" is irrelevant, and can easily be changed anyway. Meanwhile, "Pause" is the name of the feature, and itself a noun. I think it's more productive to try and discuss these verb article moves collectively. Ac2k, I believe it would be beneficial if you were to start a discussion on SmashWiki talk:Manual of Style so we can knock this issue out all at once instead of having 20 separate discussions about basically the same thing.
