People's disappointment[edit]

Who has been hearing ignorant people that this game is the worst just because of this stage? (Smashworker101 (talk) 20:08, 13 November 2014 (EST))

I haven't. Also SW:TALK. Rtzxy Image for my signature (and before you say it's too large, I'm going to resize it as [[|20px]]. Reflect! 20:10, 13 November 2014 (EST)
Please review SW:TALK, this is inappropriate talk page usage, also, no, I have not heard anyone say that. Laikue (talk | contribs) 20:12, 13 November 2014 (EST)
I know this will probably get taken down soon, but I'll go ahead and stage that I HAVE heard people hating on this stage. They say it was made in MS Paint. Ugh. Lumastar (talk) This image is for my userpage.
Pac-Land has a layout based directly on the design of the first level in the game Pac-Land. The Duck Hunt and 75m stages are also examples of stages with designs neither updated nor rendered in 3D. Blue Ninjakoopa 22:57, 13 November 2014 (EST)

Correct origin[edit]

Since the trip introduction with the fairy and the original Ms. Pac-Man are both taken from the Japanese version of Pac-Land, shouldn't the origin content have a photo that is taken directly from the Japanese version instead of the North American one? Juju1995 (talk) 22:46, 1 May 2016 (EDT)

The current image is still relevant, as it's still from the same game. Disaster Flare My signature image for the default signature. Duplicate of Lucina's life white stock head. (talk) 22:48, 1 May 2016 (EDT)
Wouldn't hurt to get one more accurate to the Japanese version, but the current one is fine because it's still illustrative of the stage. Miles (talk) 22:52, 1 May 2016 (EDT)

Legal issues[edit]

I'm amusing the main reason the Pac-Land main BGM hasen't appear in or got any remixes in Smash is because the rights to it are owned by Hanna-Barbera (a subsidiary of Warner Bros.) for the 1982 Pac-Man animated cartoon show, two years before Pac-land. Am I right? Juju1995 (talk) 12:22, 10 December 2018 (EST)
