I don't think it flies freely. I've seen him making motions that are clearly jumping, perfectly following the contours of a platform, and even fallinjg to his death while using this move. The Inker 00:12, February 3, 2008 (EST)

it could be either. some times, it looks like it's floating, sometimes jumping, sometimes clinging to the undersides of platforms. we really can't say much until we get more information. FyreNWater - (Talk • Contributions ) 01:15, February 3, 2008 (EST)

I've noticed that the octopus' trophy only says SSBB as the game it is from, even if the trophy mentions that it appeared in "octopus". Shall I add this to the trivia section?Shanic power 08:11, 29 May 2012 (EDT)
