Hey, I was wondering if songs from DS games that aren't in other universes should be put here? --YOWUZA TALK 2 ME! 14:26, 27 September 2008 (UTC)

Universe has a list of all the universes, major or minor, and I'm pretty sure it listsx songs too. So my answer is no."SK--Bow down to the king.~Now what have you done? 14:28, 27 September 2008 (UTC)

Never mind, it doesn't, but still my answer is no."SK--Bow down to the king.~Now what have you done? 14:29, 27 September 2008 (UTC)

Looking into the SSB4 Wii U files, I realized the "PictoChat"'s icon was labeled as "touch". According to the files, "touch" is meant to represent Touch! Generations. Should this page be renamed or not? GarfLarf 19:11, 22 November 2018 (EST)

Bump. Almost 5 years and still no answer. By the way, here's evidence for the Touch! Generations name. "touch" still represents the DS icon in the files for Ultimate, for the record. --GarfQC 18:40, July 8, 2023 (EDT)
To answer a five-year old discussion point (that I'm kind of surprised flew under the radar), "touch" could mean a lot of things, it doesn't automatically mean "Touch! Generations", especially since the PictoChat app has nothing to do with that brand. It was associated with games like Brain Age, Art Academy, Electroplankton, Nintendogs, Rhythm Heaven, and was also used for various Wii games like Wii Fit and Wii Sports—all of these have representation completely separate from Touch! Generations in Smash. It's speculative to say that it specifically refers to Touch! Generations, because one could also easily speculate that it refers to the touchscreen on the DS (which was heavily utilized in PictoChat). Aidan the Gamer 19:19, July 8, 2023 (EDT)
I understand your explanation that it wouldn't make sense for the series only representing PictoChat to be called "Touch! Generations", but it's not just speculation; it's also logic. Look again at the page I linked in my bump: you can easily associate a series to its icon, all of which are assigned to stages in Smash for (except IceClimberSymbol.svg Ice Climber, which went unused in those games). I'm also putting how the icons' codename from Smash for and Ultimate:
That leaves only one series:
Like you told me, it doesn't make much sense, but going by your logic, FindMiiSymbol.svg shouldn't represent all of StreetPass Mii Plaza; only Find Mii. In my opinion, at least. You're free to disagree. --GarfQC 17:39, July 10, 2023 (EDT)
