Holy smokes Mookierah. Good job o_o -- Blaiken 19:24, July 29, 2006 (GMT)

Animated GIFs

They look cool and all, but they seem like they might be lagging up the page load? Might it be better if we included links to the GIFs, or does no one else seem to be having this issue? --Kirby King 22:48, July 29, 2006 (GMT)

Ledge attacks/rolls/stand ups

I believe the entires under Ledge Properties have an issue. They all read something like:

  • Ledge stand <100%
  • Ledge stand 100%>

Technically, both these entries stand for the same thing: a ledge stand when you're under 100% damage. I'm assuming the second entry should read "Ledge stand >100%", but I'm hesitant on changing things in case the author meant something different. Please address this issue when you can, Mookie :). --Nealdt 00:43, July 30, 2006 (GMT)

Terminology Index

Why on earth is there terminology index at the bottom? That's what the ]] and [[ are for. Oddeven2002 19:42, July 30, 2006 (GMT)

O_o;;; Maybe I need to put in more work towards specific characters now.--Mr Ng 23:04, July 30, 2006 (GMT)

Uploading

Looks a bit ugly in terms of image placement at the moment. I'll upload the stuff to Wikipedia, then try and place them on the right in thumbs, see if it looks better. --Pyoro T

How can you say that Mindgaming is an excuse? You can't just pose your oppinions to a wiki site. Keep your oppinions to yourself. I haven't heard of anyone else claiming mindgaming is an excuse. And how can you say priority doesn't exist? Have you even so much as played SSBM?

Are you talking about my user page? Or about the annotation on an earlier edit? In any case I thought we discussed this in my talk page.
In any case this article has MASSIVE problems, the least of which are mindgames or priority. And my lapses of NPOV aren't even close to what this article holds. I plan a major rehaul of this page, making it many times more professional, correct and balanced. --MaskedMarth 15:35, September 28, 2006 (GMT)
In case you're wondering about all the little changes, I'm making the frame data more concise, dejargonized and understandable (so we don't have to warn users that it's highly technical data, which is totally unencyclopedic to say). --MaskedMarth 16:35, September 29, 2006 (GMT)

hmm

I haven't yet touched the bigger problems in this article - particularly, choosing the content for this article (all the frame data could merit and article of their own), providing a comprehensive argument of why Mewtwo is bottom tier (seven pros and three cons would not seem to be the stuff of the game's worst character). For this, I need people that actually know something about Mewtwo. So yeah....umm, help :). --MaskedMarth 17:55, November 15, 2006 (GMT)

Unlockable

how do you unlock mewtwo? That needs to be in there.--ender 23:56, March 26, 2007 (GMT)

The item usage pro is unnecessary...

The tier rankings...

They don't show up for any characters. It's just a blank space.

I think it's because of the color coding, for some reason it's making it ignore it.--—Preceding unsigned comment added by Taiketo (talkcontribs)

Sorry for not signing. I forgot. Anyway, template:character|this is what needs to be edited, but I don't know how to fix it so it will work. Taiketo 20:51, November 21, 2007 (EST)

Confusion on statements

What exactly does it mean when it says "dont use the move too much or you will be punished" does the game punish you? i dont understand what it is saying -wakeboardman87

It is referring to Stale-Move Negation IMO. Bek The Conqueror (talk) 04:02, 27 December 2008 (UTC)

Lucario

Umm.. whats your problem with Lucario I mean, I know it's speculation but still we could have kept it in the article until something about the two were confirmed, plus on some sites it has become a very talked about issue between Pokemon fans and Smash Bros. Fans. So you know Lucario could make an appearance or he even could replace Mewtwo since they both have very strong fan bases. -Pokémon Master

well seeing as we are now a year into the release of Brawl, and Lucario is CERTAINLY not a mewtwo clone, your comments are (and were) correct. go have a cookie or something.(81.158.43.106 10:17, 15 April 2009 (UTC))

Mewtwo coming back for brawl thoughts of....

I actually think it is still 50-50 he will come back stickers are only for charecters in subspace emissary and Sakuri never said all charecters would have a roll maybe he is just not in subspace emmisary... also Mew2 could be unlockable and not unlocked but lucario could be a starter....

Just my thoughts (all this is the same for Pichu) ~Crystal_Lucario 09:03, January 22, 2008 (EST)

But we don't know everything yet. He may be unlockable or not. We'll just have to wait and see, or we can get info from people who are willing to share it in about a week.

It's worth mentioning he wasn't with the other 4 Pokémon characters (along with Pichu), but we got to express both sides of the arguement, don't we? Johnknight1 01:27, January 27, 2008 (EST)

I put both arguments under: In SSBB. Guess I beat everyone to it...:D ~Crystal_Lucario 06:55, January 27, 2008 (EST)

Can you plz show me the picture of mewtwo in brawl

Can you please show me the picture of mewtwo in brawl —Preceding unsigned comment added by 205.222.248.225 (talkcontribs) 11:39, 2 April 2008 (UTC)

Nobody can because he wasn't in Brawl they only found hidden data refrencing him including his theme song, and little pieces of him. ~Crystal_Lucario 11:42, 2 April 2008 (UTC) PS. Sign your comments with ~~~~

Technically, this would be the same for the others (Young Link, Dr. Mario, etc.) because they didn't appear in Brawl. So if Mewtwo didn't appear in Brawl, and they had only very little data, he wouldn't have a picture. But I'm guessing he would look like what his trophy picture is. MegaMario9910

I believe he's referring to the fact that Mewtwo is the only removed character to have data for a Classic versus screen (which for some reason was made a separate discussion below). Of course, there's no way to actually access this in the game, and I don't believe anyone has been able to file-rip it. If one day they are, it'd mean a lot for the fans. Same for any theme/SFX, really. 71.185.124.134 18:04, 9 April 2008 (UTC)

But what about the classic mode image containing mewtwo

But what about the classic mode image containing mewtwo —Preceding unsigned comment added by 205.222.248.225 (talkcontribs) 12:34, 2 April 2008 (UTC)

Sign your comments! Go look at the trophy. Now I'm gonna go play in my sandbox. ~Crystal_Lucario 14:44, 2 April 2008 (UTC)

Ugh. If Mewtwo was in Brawl, then Lucario wouldn't. I rather count Pokemon Trainer replacing Pichu, but I'm not gonna get into that now. Pichu & Mewtwo=Pokemon Trainer & Lucario. Same goes for Roy & Ike! MegaMario9910

Crystal Lucario- The trophy is the Battle Revolution model, which is severely lacking in detail even compared to Melee; I sincerely doubt they'd use that for a playable Brawl character. The fact that Mewtwo was far enough along to have a Classic versus image suggest that there's probably a more detailed model that the public has not yet seen. MegaMario9910- What are you basing that on? The character select screen can always be expanded.71.185.124.134 18:14, 9 April 2008 (UTC)

Revised: Brawl and Lucario

The article ("Mewtwo", not "Mewtwo (SSBM)") made the claim that Mewtwo and Lucario follow similar psychic themes in their moves, which is false, Lucario is not a psychic. He uses Aura, a manifestation of the fighting spirit. Furthermore, with all the talk of Mewtwo/Lucario comparisons, I feel the need to be more specific on their move similarities, or rather, lack thereof. Mewtwo and Lucario share only two comparable attacks: Standard B and Forward Smash A (Up Smash A is argued by casual observers who notice they're both energy attacks, but they function differently). Every other attack is unique to their respective character. 71.185.124.134 21:03, 9 April 2008 (UT

Replacement

Actually I think that Lucario replaced Pichu, They were both the current generation representatives. Pokemon Trainer replaced Mewtwo, because they are both generation 1 representatives. Solar flute (talk) 01:31, 27 February 2009 (UTC)

I think when they're talking about replacements, I think they mean about the moveset. Not the generation. Unknown the Hedgehog 02:17, 27 February 2009 (UTC)
Pichu wasn't current anyway (2nd gen), was it? --Alice 02:20, 27 February 2009 (UTC)

How to unlock hours?

It says that the 20 hours to unlock him is "divieded among the players". Shouldn't we list the amount of players needed for whatever hours? (ex.- 2 players= 10 hours)? HavocReaper48 (talk) 23:00, October 22, 2009 (UTC)User:HavocReaper48 (talk)

Yup but they have to be humans which means they have to be controlled by a player. 4 humans=5 hours. --Murphyshane (talk) 17:00, January 29, 2010 (UTC)

how do you change the subject and by that i mean place the line?

ok i know mewtwo is not the best character in the world but he is still fun, he's actually my favourite. brawl is also the first smash bro. game i owned and melee is the second and latest.

Err..., after much effort, I just beat Classic mode on Hard with Pichu with no continues and no Mewtwo. I had already beaten it with Jiggs and Pikachu on Hard w/ no continues, so that unlock method seems false, or at least faulty.

98.243.182.78 07:54, June 26, 2010 (UTC)Machinegungeek

Very simply, that is a false unlocking method. Omega Tyrant TyranitarMS.png 08:19, June 26, 2010 (UTC)

I remembered

When i saw mewtwo on ssbm on the a new foe has appeared screen i even tried to battle him so hes unlocked. Although i noticed he can burn them with his shadow ball and one of his moves and he has electric too. I even liked this because he can set a thing on fire.--BrandondorfLemsdadhead.png 11:49, 3 October 2011 (EDT)
