Added category
ever since i thought of this i thought the game wasnt the same... i love brawl no doubt but why couldn't they give adult link the ability to turn into wolf link, kinda like zelda turns to sheik.
maybe in a 2nd wii smash if they make 1.

Secret Charecters?

- If Star Wars 6 had just come out, and this was a Star Wars wiki, would we start posting about Darth Vaders identety everywhere, so all unfortunate enough to come will have the movie spoiled? Brawl is pretty recent, and many don't want spoilers. Shouldn't we wait a little longer before these articles?
- If it were a Star Wars wiki, yes, we would start posting spoilers. It's about complete information, not a calculated presentation that caters to overemotional players. The onus is on the reader to know what kind of website they're getting into. --Randall00 16:33, 6 May 2008 (UTC)

Smashers...American Smashers?
Why are there suddenly links and drop-down menus for Smashers and American Smashers (which seem to be identical) off the main page? First they were being moved out of the main namespace so the article count wouldn't be "misleading" (because ya know, smasher articles aren't REAL articles, apparently) and now they appear in the menu on the side bar along with an extra special link specifically for Americans? New Stickers Section/Strategies
Has anyone else been thinking That we need to stop posting Strategy sections, and stop giving personal advice in the stickers section? We should let the reader make their own strategies. It's perfectly alright for us to help, but going right out their and saying 'do this, this and this, but dont do this' is a little wrong. I think we should start using this new Stickers template I made (see Mr. Game & Watch (SSBB), which describes what type of attacks the attacks are considered, and also the 'Exclusive Stickers'. And about the strategies, we should use the template on Mewtwo (SSBM) from now on, putting links to pages about strategies that PROFFESIONALS USE. Who's with me? The featured Article

ssb64 was on way longer. i still think it should be "this weeks featured article". anyways i was thinking it could be random. or that we could of "todays featured stage", "todays featured character", and "today's featured item", along with the regular featured article. - Well, I believe the system now is Template:FA/7, followed by Template:FA/8, followed by Template:FA/9, etc. So really, I can just select random articles, do a little rewrite up and put it on the Main Page manually. New Smash Bros. News?
Hey, if anyone has any news about any new games in the Smash Bros series, then just report back here... New Template
I think that we need a template saying that an article needs an image. Or more images than it currently has. Here is a template that I made:
The bottom of the template will have {{{doc|[[Category:Articles in need of images|{{PAGENAME}}]]}}} , so that the page will be added to [[Category:Articles in need of images]].
It may need some different wording, and a different image. What do you think?

- Well, I like the idea, and it is something wikipedia does. Let's just be careful that the images that get added are relevant and good quality. - This is not the place to discuss potential new templates, this is the talk page for the Main Page. That said, the colors on the template make it pretty unreadable. I don't like the idea of using colors for the sake of making things colorful; we should have a system like Wikipedia where the colors associated with each template have some sort of meaning (distinguishing, for example, "this article can be enhanced" vs. "this article is lacking important details" vs. "this article is factually incorrect") --Kirby King 00:47, 18 August 2008 (UTC)
Spelling
Hi. I'd just like to comment about the spelling on the main page. The main page is the first thing new visitors see when they enter this site. If many words are spelled incorrectly, the new visitor may already have a bad impression of the site. I'm talking about the "Note to all Users" section, in which many words are spelled wrong. I'm just asking that when you edit the main page, make sure you spell words right. Thanks! swannie
