I saw this entry twice-or rather listed under these 2 things. Wouldn't those both be the same Link? Thanks. Collateralshrek (talk) 18:01, 25 November 2018 (EST)

Moon source?

Previously, the page listed SSBU as the source of the Moon's artwork. However, after comparing it side-by-side with the Moon's assist trophy artwork, I realized they were slightly different. Upon doing a reverse image search on Google, I was able to find the same artwork used in this Nintendo of Europe Twitter post from 2015. That proves it definitely isn't original to SSBU, since it predates SSBU by over 3 years, but it does raise the question: where is it from originally?

The Twitter post is most likely advertising the then-recently released Majora's Mask 3D, so it could be promotional artwork from that game. However, it also looks like it could be a render of the Moon's more detailed model from Hyrule Warriors (released in 2014). Either way, I can't seem to find the original source. Does anyone else know where this is from? --PeabodySam (talk) 23:20, 13 December 2018 (EST)

After doing some more digging, I've found this @ZeldaOfficialJP Twitter post on February 4, 2015, just a couple weeks before the release of Majora's Mask 3D. This seems to be the earliest source of the image I can find, with no relevant Google results being found before 2015. Therefore, I'm reasonably sure that this is Majora's Mask 3D promotional artwork and not Hyrule Warriors. I hope I answered my own question. I don't know if anyone else was interested in this, but there we go... --PeabodySam (talk) 15:32, April 3, 2020 (EDT)

So, has no one ripped the Link's Awakening spirits from the game files yet?

I'm honestly baffled that at this point we still use the Smash Twitter's jpgs when the Dragon Quest spirits have all been already ripped and placed into their own gallery, yet that's not the case for two Spirits that have been in the game for longer. --DigitalHazard (talk) 12:28, 19 August 2019 (CST)

Neither of the Link's Awakening spirits were ripped yet due to changes made in recent updates over how Spirits tied to Spirit Board events are stored, effectively making ripping them harder. Spirits that are not exclusively tied to events, or those who were introduced/ripped before said update, are not affected by this. For use as my signature icon. Nokii — 15:01, August 18, 2019 (EDT)
