Battles on the event pagesEdit

Is there a reason why the event pages have the Spirit Battles listed? Couldn't it just be a table with number, image, name, maybe series, type, and class?--CanvasK (talk) 07:16, April 25, 2020 (EDT)

...because people might want to view details of the spirit battles, and it makes sense for that information to be there. Alex the Weeb 07:32, April 25, 2020 (EDT)
We already have several pages with the battles on them, and once the event is over the battles don't matter much in my opinion. This may just be me not wanting to scour every event page to find a random battle that needs corrections.--CanvasK (talk) 07:45, April 25, 2020 (EDT)
The thing is, if people want to find information on a spirit battle that was in an event, it would make sense for them to visit the event's article, rather than trying to guess which characters were in the battle so they can find the information on a character article. Also the fact that the events are temporary is irrelevant, as we document historical information all the time on the Wiki, and often said spirit battles can still be accessed on the board after the event is over. Furthermore the event articles are very small as is, so I can't see any argument for reducing the bloat on them either. Alex the Weeb 07:49, April 25, 2020 (EDT)
I don't have anymore good arguments, so I'll drop it. I'll just have to tough it out with updating them. Should be a relatively small task compared to the fighter and series pages.--CanvasK (talk) 08:04, April 25, 2020 (EDT)

Pokemon Spirits in Regular Rotation?Edit

Note that this would probably be a better fit for the Galar Region Pokemon Discovered! page, but I'm bringing it up here for what I'd assume would be greater visibility.

I've noticed that basically all event Spirits are in rotation (even the Octopath ones are), but I have yet to see any of the 4 Sword and Shield Spirits on the Spirit Board outside of the event, even after shuffling the board dozens of times. Can anyone here verify if they're in rotation, or if they missed the event and still haven't gotten the Spirits? I have a hunch that if this is the case...they'll be added to the DLC Spirit Board for a new Pokemon character. Any help is appreciated. PikaPhantom (talk) 17:38, July 19, 2020 (EDT)

They should be available after Feb 25th, 2020. I have them on one account that didn't participate in the event but I won't rule out that they've been changed since then. I'll try to get them to show. --CanvasK (talk) 17:55, July 19, 2020 (EDT)
I know for a fact that you're able to get them, because I got them when it was announced they'd be available through regular rotation. Aidan, the Rurouni 18:07, July 19, 2020 (EDT)

Thanks for the replies! PikaPhantom (talk) 18:24, July 19, 2020 (EDT)

While making a file without events I came across Zacian & Zamazenta. So the idea that they were removed is false. --CanvasK (talk) 12:25, July 20, 2020 (EDT)

Wow...Edit

Today's Vitamin Connection's first anniversary, but I don't think there really is a Spirit Board event based on that game, despite it only being on Switch like Ultimate is. SafariKid2 (talk) 18:16, February 20, 2021 (EST)

Talk pages aren't for musings. Second, events are announced on Tuesdays/Wednesdays (it is Saturday). Third, there's no obligation. Daemon X Machina didn't get an event for a couple weeks, Ring Fit Adventure several months. Octopath is the only one that got an anniversary event. --CanvasK (talk) 18:26, February 20, 2021 (EST)
So how about I talk about a potential Vitamin Connection Spirit Board event on Discord? T_T SafariKid2 (talk) 19:05, February 20, 2021 (EST)

Re-runsEdit

This also applies to to Event Tourneys. With events being re-used in the future, how should we handle these? Add them to the bottom of the table like a standard event or just add the re-run date to the existing event row? Additionally, how should we note on the individual pages? I'm thinking "It ran from DATE1 to DATE2" to "It originally ran from DATE1 to DATE2 and was later re-hosted/ran/aired from DATE3 to DATE4" (tenses shouldn't be an issue). --CanvasK (talk) 22:21, November 12, 2021 (EST)
