I went through and ordered the list according to how it is in game, fixed links, spelling, added missing guys, removed fakes, etc. etc.

Everything seems to be whole now

Gaining trophies[edit]

In the case of trophies such as Paper Mario and Outset Link, which you complete by doing certain tasks, what do you do to gain other copies: do you complete the task again or are they on the Coin Launcher post-unlocking. 62.31.242.55 13:48, 8 April 2008 (UTC)

Pics[edit]

I think we should also post a section where we have a gallery of all trophies and plus pics of any trophy or game mysteries/errors. (Enzeru 15:34, 25 April 2008 (UTC))

Table Form[edit]

Im going to make this into a table form. Zmario (talk) 23:11, 25 June 2008 (UTC)

Image Heavy[edit]

I'm beginning to think such large picture files for every trophy is way too much. Either the pictures need smaller thumbnails or the article should be split into multiple ones. Your thoughts? FyreNWater - (TalkContributions ) 03:41, 27 July 2008 (UTC)

I'll see what I can do about shrinking them. Clarinet Hawk (talk · contributions) 21:00, 28 July 2008 (UTC)

Repeating Information[edit]

I noticed that the information for Mr. Saturn and Pokey were exactly the same. I had no idea Mr. Saturn became Giygas' right hand man. </sarcasm>

Okay, I fixed that. 76.191.199.100 06:35, 1 September 2008 (UTC)

Links[edit]

They need to be added to all of the pages. I'd do it now, but I don't have the time. Cheezperson {talk}stuff 03:17, 21 October 2008 (UTC)

Wondering...[edit]

What's the copyright on the pictures already on the page (not Jackton's pics)? Friedbeef1 Ho ho ho! 22:43, 9 December 2008 (UTC)

Incomplete[edit]

The Ridleys are missing. Someone ought to check over this list. ChozoBoy (talk) 00:32, 6 January 2009 (UTC)

Yeah I checked and there are only 420 trophies listed of the 544 total.74.170.214.137 11:56, 11 January 2009 (UTC)

I found Ooccoo on google. I'm wondering if it's photoshopped or real.

--Mr Alex (talk) 21:03, 11 January 2009 (UTC)

Ooccoo is real. I have it. 79.211.99.155 20:37, 22 February 2009 (UTC)

And... go![edit]

Pictures, descriptions, etc. All there. Ordered weirdly, but this is the right place to look for 'em. Miles (talk) 16:14, 3 May 2009 (UTC)

Confused[edit]

The scarfies trophy i have says: "Try to inhale them however, and they take on a new form". This contradicts what it says in the description here which is get close to them...... and I'm 100% sure i don't have the pal version--DarkBrawler I am Victorious! 06:25, 7 July 2009 (UTC)

This is a complete mess...[edit]

This page is the one that needs the most cleanup out of the entire wiki. It has missing trophies (especially from the Donkey Kong Series) and a ton of the images are Action Replay Pictures (which don't look that great) and Trophy Hoards which have to be cropped. The descriptions have to be checked over, and there are a ton of things that we probably need to check. The Smash Bros Series is set, though. This job would go faster if some people could help out with this. If you want to help out with pictures, there is a way to get them, but it is very long. First, take pictures of the trophies in Trophy Hoard, and save them to an SD Card. Make sure that the SD card only has those pictures; otherwise, you'll have a hard time finding them. You'll see that they aren't images at all. They're encrypted. To decrypt them, you'll have to use this site to decrypt the snapshot. If you have a widescreen TV and take snapshots there, select Widescreen and then click Decrypt. You'll download the image, but before you upload it, crop it using Paint or something like it, and save it. Then you can upload them to something like (Name of trophy) Trophy.jpg. As for descriptions, and the rest of the table well, figure it out. The very long trophy list was already posted a long time ago above. RAN1domchupunch!!99 00:11, October 16, 2009 (UTC)

I recommend trying this for a head start. Miles (talk) 00:55, October 16, 2009 (UTC)
Wow. This is actually very helpful. We'd still need to upload the images if we want them to look better, but the descriptions are set. As soon as I can get on SmashWiki tomorrow, I'll start to copy down the descriptions. Thanks, Miles, although I wonder how all of the other wikis have the stuff we need... Well, Mistake[edit]

The trophy info made a mistake on Fire Kirby.

"Kirby when he inhales an enemy who uses fire. Shooting fire from his mouth, Fire Kirby can cook enemies from afar. This ability also allows Kirby to light explosive blocks, fuses, and so on. In Kirby Super Star and Kirby & The Amazing Mirror, Fire Kirby can roll his burning body into enemies as an attack move."Trophy Info on Fire Kirby. (the Uncyclopedia trick doesn't work)

Well, he didn't use the fireball attack as Fire Kirby in Kirby & the Amazing Mirror. He did get the Burning ability though. But it's still a mistake. So, the Smash Bros. Series has another error on a Kirby series trophy.--Lazer81095 (talk) 00:43, November 2, 2009 (UTC)

Donkey Kong[edit]

At the bottom of the page there is a claim that Donkey Kong was originally in the arcade version. However, in the DKC series Cranky claims (or hints at, been a while since I dusted off the old SNES) to have been the original Donkey Kong. So Cranky's first appearance would be the arcade version, not Donkey Kong's. I'm not really sure if that changes anything, so I'll leave it to a veteran of the site to deal with this info.

snakes codec call also confirms this. however the info from the first game says it is the same donkey kong meaning isnt a different character in both games (the melee trophy says dk arcade i think so that means donkey kong in brawl is a whole new character, with identical move sets to a previously dropped character) Oni Dark Link 14:21, March 28, 2010 (UTC)

CD trophy[edit]

Can someone move the CDs trophy to The Subspace Emissary section? It's in The Subspace Emissary, not Super Smash Bros. I'm new to Wiki so I don't know how to move it. JoeMorris (talk) 15:29, June 2, 2010 (UTC)

It's in the correct place, which can be easily confirmed in-game. Miles (talk) 20:43, June 2, 2010 (UTC)

Which background?[edit]

Hey guys, I'm gonna start on the SSBB trophies, but I was wondering, which background should I use? I was thinking of using the one I used for the Zelda trophies, but then I figured why not ask you guys, especially since some trophies look better with the "default" background. Any preferences? Dany36 (talk) 20:50, 23 November 2010 (EST)

I'd have to say use the backgrounds that best fit the character you're using. Mario gets something bright while Ganon gets darkness.--MegaTron1XD:p 20:53, 23 November 2010 (EST)
I say use all the same background while you can, but change it for specific trophies if the image becomes too hard to "get" when scaled down a bit. Toomai Glittershine Data Node 21:10, 23 November 2010 (EST)
As per Toom. Let's go for the default when it's at least decently effective as a means of standardization. Miles (talk) 21:24, 23 November 2010 (EST)
I'm gonna upload these in parts since there are just so many trophies. :P First three parts done:

Yoshi, Kirby, and Star Fox series trophies are up:

Apologies for how the Warp Star and Star Rod trophies came out...I have no idea why it does that. :/ Dany36 (talk) 02:10, 12 December 2010 (EST)
*checks the ones he's downloaded but not edited for upload yet*
They're not the only ones - the Beam Sword cap is similarly affected, and the Assist Trophy one isn't usable because of the black square that covers half the trophy. :(
Showing the disguisable problems with some trophy images.
Showing what happens in Gimp with the Starman & Mario trophies vs. what happens in Irfanview
One notable thing though, if it helps you - GIMP reads all of them strangely, making the background half-transparent, and some parts of a few of the trophies fully transparent - and the block that comes out on some of the glowy ones shows up in all of them in the GIMP, as a solid block in the midst of the partial transparency (see Starman example on right), rather than as a dark block in just a few. - Reboot (talk) 06:43, 12 December 2010 (EST)
If you flatten the image (remove the alpha channel), does that help/fix the problem? Toomai Glittershine Data Node 12:49, 12 December 2010 (EST)
No, it just has the same effect as putting a solid layer of colour (by default, white) underneath it - Mario there has no values at all in the transparent areas as far as GIMP's concerned, which I've never seen before in a BMP.
This isn't critical in and of itself though - I can work around it for these - I just thought it might help in finding out the problems with the Assist Trophy/etc images which *aren't* workaroundable. - Reboot (talk) 15:18, 12 December 2010 (EST)
Yeah I had noticed that when I was doing some image work for ZW and I would open some images in GIMP to edit them. Well, I tried messing around with the graphics configuration but nothing seemed to work...sorry about that. :x But for now, here's the latest batch: Pokemon and F-Zero trophies. I think all of these look normal. :P link. Dany36 (talk) 00:52, 13 December 2010 (EST)
Will get the Metal Gear and Sonic ones tonight: from Earthbound to Others series trophies Dany36 (talk) 15:20, 15 December 2010 (EST)
