Tha's either a cleanup or a stub, not a deletion.O, Mighty Smoreking 17:35, 9 November 2008 (UTC)

DeletionEdit

Weak Delete: I don't really see the point of this article, but if it could be fleshed out, it may be useful. Still not convinced at this point. Silverdragon706/FyreNWater - (TC ) 23:01, 9 November 2008 (UTC)

Delete. I don't get it. IT'S A METEORITE!If you weren't crushed 20:53, 10 November 2008 (UTC)

Comment. This page is one of my babies from a time where I adamantly supported creating articles for basic elements of the game, as I realized we in the Smash community can confuse others even by the way we use words as simple as "knockback" and "character." This term falls into the same blanket, but in retrospect I wonder if I'm the only one that uses it. As the article is easily expandable and does fill a gap in the terminology of combos that we need to address, I'd say the main impetus for deletion is if, again, "launcher" can be shown to be MaskedMarth's Pet Term rather than something universal to the Smash scene. Delete. The problem I have is that not all attacks that set up a combo "launch" the opponent and not all attack that launch the opponent set up a combo. Add in th fact that many people might confuse this with the Cracker Launcher item, and I see this page as being more confusing than helpful. A good point. I had not thought of such confusion. I'll add my moot delete vote and seeing no objections I grab the ax. MaskedMarth (t c) 18:37, 20 November 2008 (UTC)
