List of instant KOs.Edit

Here's what I got:

Attack KO %
Infernal Climax 100%
Danger Zone  100%
Danger Zone  0%
Orne 0%
Ultimate Chimera 0%
Triforce of Wisdom 100%
Ridley's Final Smash unknown
Being crushed 0%

That's all I got so far. Unowninator (talk) 11:52, 23 August 2018 (EDT)

There are already articles for all these types of KOs. No need to list them in a separate page with an arbitrarily different term (nobody really makes a special distinction between instant KO and one-hit KO).   DracoRex, Creator of the Land 12:39, 23 August 2018 (EDT)

Can we please make this a disambig?Edit

As I've said before:

  • The way I see it, OHKO means KO at 0%; instant KO means vanish without launching.) (undo)
  • From what I've been hearing, instant KO refers to danger zones (in the WiiU Nintendo Direct), and Death's Scythe. Please reconsider the disambig.

I wanted this to be it's own page originally, but I'll take what I can get. Unowninator (talk) 19:06, 24 August 2018 (EDT)

Oppose. OHKO is known as Instant KO in Melee, and Instant KOs in SSB4 might be better off covered on the OHKO page anyway. Black Vulpine of the Furry Nation. Furries make the internets go! :3 19:57, 24 August 2018 (EDT)

Oppose Per Black Vulpine. VoqéoT 11:25, 25 August 2018 (EDT)

There already is a disambig page. But it's just a redirect to here. Just edit that and problem solved. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.113.179.47 (talkcontribs) 12:12, 25 August 2018 (EDT)

Oppose. It still refers to the same thing and like Vulpine said, an OHKO is called as Instant KOs in Melee anyways. MHStarCraft   20:17, 26 August 2018 (EDT)

Oppose, instant KO is still used by many in leu of the slow to pronounce One-hit KO, or the awkward abbreviation OHKO. Alex the Jigglypuff trainer 13:01, 28 August 2018 (EDT)

………If I can't make a disambiguation, I do at least want a page for the vanishing KOs. I don't know where to ask, I don't know what to call it, and I don't know the first thing about making an official sounding article. Is there anything I can do at all? Or am I forced to just give it all up? Unowninator (talk) 19:48, 29 August 2018 (EDT)

Best place for it is its own section on the OHKO page. Simple as that. Black Vulpine of the Furry Nation. Furries make the internets go! :3 20:28, 29 August 2018 (EDT)
But it's a completely different thing from an OHKO, isn't it? It doesn't KO at 0%. Unowninator (talk) 20:37, 29 August 2018 (EDT)
It’s not that different if you think some connection should be made. Besides, you would need to be able to call it something other than instant KO and putting it on the Already existing page, even if it’s a differently named section, solves this problem. Call it something other than instant KO? Okay... how about vanish KO? Unowninator (talk) 21:19, 29 August 2018 (EDT)
For anyone else who wants this, User:SuperFalconBros has created this:[1]. Thank you SuperFalconBros. Unowninator (talk) 18:43, 4 September 2018 (EDT)

StaminaEdit

Does losing all HP in Stamina match in Ultimate count as a instant KO? Juju1995 (talk) 22:59, December 5, 2019 (EST)

I'm five months late, but yeah, I'm pretty sure it does, as it's been on the list since the revision (late September 2018) in which the article was changed from a redirect to One-hit KO to ... what it is now. (In retrospect, maybe "radial KO" or something would be better, but alas...) --Volleo6144 (talk) 17:16, April 25, 2020 (EDT)

Is the black hole from the bonus game also an instant KO?Edit

In case someone doesn't know, this is the bonus game I'm talking about: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aY8hW50JtsA

Anyway, is that black hole an instant KO? ¿¡Unowninator?! (talk) 13:03, August 23, 2020 (EDT)

I think it is just a windbox that pulls you into the blast zone. I let it pull me in and got the same explosion as when I fell off the bottom. --CanvasK (talk) 13:18, August 23, 2020 (EDT)
Hmm, alright then, thanks—Preceding unsigned comment added by Unowninator (talkcontribs) 16:07, August 23, 2020 (EST)
