"Hit points" is the more standard term in general. Indeed, "hit points" has over five times the Google results than "health points" does. Toomai Glittershine ??? The Incomperable 19:01, 18 June 2012 (EDT)

Name number

Technically, this page should be called "Hit point" (singular title). But the concept does not seem to apply to being singular. Thoughts? Toomai Glittershine ??? The Sharp 13:12, 7 July 2012 (EDT)

This isn't the only article in that vein, Coins (collectable) is pluralised, going against the Manual of Style, but the concept is generally pluralised. But to answer the question, this article refers to hit points in groups rather than evaluating an individual hit point, so keep this article with the name it has now.
