DeletionEdit

This article doesn't really need to exist. It honestly has little relevance to Smash. It is also poorly written, and doesn't even have enough info to warrant a page. I'd like to nominate this article for deletion, but I don't know how. If not deleted, this "article" (I'm not sure it even really deserves to be called an "article" with how short it is) badly needs to be rewritten, it is currently poorly written and would be unhelpful if someone actually wanted this info. 72.133.91.93 13:25, 26 September 2018 (EDT)Blueflame105

You can tag an article for deletion by typing {{delete|reason for deletion}} at the top of the page. – Emmett 15:01, 26 September 2018 (EDT)

I’d like to get a consensus on whether or not the page should be deleted. To be clear, I am the same person who first brought it up and nominated the article for deletion, I’ve just been doing mobile edits from the road. 107.77.218.90 16:11, 26 September 2018 (EDT) Blueflame105

I Support as well, but my vote probably doesn’t count due to me proposing it. Also bumping this. 72.133.91.93 11:45, 27 September 2018 (EDT)Blueflame105
Support as well; this doesn't really relate to Smash other than social media access, which pretty much everything has. SugarCookie420 (talk) 11:24, 29 September 2018 (EDT)
Support I guess.   Naughty🐽GRAND DAD Mr. No CCC Fleenstones!?   11:38, 29 September 2018 (EDT)
Woah hold on FB is important for competitive smash. It's generally the platform that regional/state PRs are displayed, they use it to RSVP to tournaments and so on. Serpent   King 19:18, 29 September 2018 (EDT)
Oppose as per SK. Black Vulpine of the Furry Nation. Furries make the internets go! :3 19:49, 29 September 2018 (EDT)
Well, yeah, but the article is pretty useless in that pretty much all it does is mention what SK did, and not much else. Basically it’s just saying. “Facebook is a common way for smashers to set up tournaments” surrounded by heaps of useless fluff. If you guys can actual make this an article, then I’ll leave this be, but as it stands, it doesn’t really deserve it’s own page. 72.133.91.93 20:01, 29 September 2018 (EDT)Blueflame105
You don't delete an article based only on its quality. Improve, don't delete. Serpent   King 20:08, 29 September 2018 (EDT)
Oppose. If we have an article for YouTube then I don't see why this should go. MHStarCraft   21:37, 29 September 2018 (EDT)
Oppose: Per SK and MHStarCraft. VoqéoT 21:58, 29 September 2018 (EDT)
Oppose: As per Serpent King, MHStarCraft, and Voqéo.  SonicSpeed48  22:01, 29 September 2018 (EDT)
Oppose: We have YouTube and Instagram so, let's keep it! Facebook is a great place to socialize with all of the pages, even Super Smash Bros. Dragonfirebreath25 (talk) 22:05, 29 September 2018 (EDT)
Oppose: Pretty much what SK said. Facebook is an essential tool for the Smash community and the competitive Smash scene would likely not have been as prevalent as it is today if it weren't for Facebook. The article is lacking, I agree, but that's not a valid reason to delete it. Pokebub (talk) 02:05, 30 September 2018 (EDT)
