Why doesn't this page exist?

There are plenty of boss characters -- Master Hand, Crazy Hand, Giga Bowser, Petey Piranha... the list goes on, and that's without bosses who are simply altered characters, like Metal Mario, as well as without teams, like the Wire Frames. Any reason why there isn't a page specifically adressing the bosses in SSB, Melee, and Brawl? I'd do a copy-paste job to make this page, but that would seem a little sloppy. If no one else cares, I'll go ahead and write the page out. Teamrocketspy621 12:57, November 21, 2007 (EST)

Move Galleries

Would it be alright if I could add galleries displaying the moves of each SSE Boss? And if that is accepted, Knuckle Joe's moveset? MegaTron1XD:p 00:35, 16 February 2012 (EST)

If you're willing to make the images, I have no objections. Toast Wii U Logo Transparent.pngltimatumA transparent image of Swadloon for my sig. 09:32, 16 February 2012 (EST)

Stage bosses

Any other bosses that can be added? ...a new NuttaNutta's Mallo sig.pngis approaching... 17:55, 13 September 2014 (EDT)

Pages for Metal Face and Yellow Devil?

Should they have pages? Ridley has one (albeit because of his appearance in Brawl), but I'm assuming all three have different movesets, strategies, health, etc. Aren't they as worthy of a page as Rayquaza and Porky Minch, even though they're on a slightly smaller scale? ---Previously unsigned comment added by you. Or maybe Nutta. 13:30, 24 October 2014 (EDT)

I've supported these for a while. Stage bosses are big enough and drastic enough of a stage element to warrant their own pages. Miles (talk) 17:00, 24 October 2014 (EDT)
Stage bosses should, in fact, have their own articles. We have pages for separate Assist Trophies, so why don't we have them for stage bosses? Assist Trophies and stage bosses are somewhat the same, if not similar, to each other, albeit one's an item and the other a stage element. So, I would support creating separate pages for stage bosses. Rtzxy Personal use; signature, to be exact Smashing! 17:09, 24 October 2014 (EDT)
Oh yeah, I'd also include the Flying Man in this category. Like a recruited Ridley or an Assist Trophy/Pokemon, they get their ally's player tag above them. Miles (talk) 17:13, 24 October 2014 (EDT)
So we're looking at pages for Yellow Devil, Metal Face, and Flying Man(/Men). I support all of these. ---Previously unsigned comment added by you. Or maybe Nutta. 12:06, 25 October 2014 (EDT)
Flying Man could be considered a boss, I guess, albeit one that takes just one hit to "defeat" and recruit. Supporting this, I think they have enough complexity and miscellaneous other characteristics to be considered more than just stage pieces. --Menshay (talk) 13:16, 25 October 2014 (EDT)
I don't see how he is a boss. He's technically separate from this proposal, but since we're voting on making pages, it makes sense that we should add anything else that may need a page (like Flying Man). Ridley, Metal Face, and Yellow Devil all have the same basic theory (they're really big, they appear at random points in the battle to disrupt it, and can be KO'd) and can be grouped together easily (Ridley was mentioned as another possible stage boss after Yellow Devil's confirmation, while Ridley and Metal Face were both announced at basically the same time). Flying Man, on the other hand, is just a unique hazard, and is separate from basically everyone else. (Btw, it could be debatable if Ridley is entirely grouped in, since he is more like Flying Man than Yellow Devil and Metal Face, with the only evidence being him being mentioned by Sakurai after Yellow Devil... thoughts?) ---Previously unsigned comment added by you. Or maybe Nutta. 18:30, 25 October 2014 (EDT)
Flying Man is more than just a hazard, though, he's more like a stage-bound assist with complex-ish behaviour and as such I feel he deserves at least a separate section in the Magicant page, if a full page is too much. Same for the bosses, depending on how complex and relevant they actually are. I know calling Flying Man a boss is inaccurate, but he's still an entity with a mutual interaction (can KO and be KOed) with players, much more than stuff like Klaptrap and the Ultimate Chimera, and this is why I lumped him with the full bosses. If anything I guess he could be considered a "degenerate boss", using (pretentiously and possibly not entirely accurately) the mathematical definition of degeneracy. About Ridley and Metal Face, maybe waiting for the Wii U version (or just further official information) and seeing how they actually work is the best course of action. If anything I think they should definitely get listed in their own sections/paragraphs/list items in this page (like they already partially are). --Menshay (talk) 18:55, 25 October 2014 (EDT)
I support creating pages for all stage bosses, which includes Metal Face, Yellow Devil and Flying Man. Tepig (talk) 19:04, 25 October 2014 (EDT)
Dark Emperor, Ridley/Meta Ridley, and Rayquaza all have pages. I'd go ahead and make pages for Metal Face and Yellow Devil, but I know nothing about either character due to lack of experience in the Xenoblade and Mega Man fields. Same goes for Flying Man (which should probably be titled Flying Men), except with EarthBound/Mother :P ---Previously unsigned comment added by you. Or maybe Nutta. 16:05, 30 October 2014 (EDT)

Master Core counts as Master/Crazy Hand?

Just wondering, as there is nothing about the SSB4 version of the hands, if this wasn't necessary because Master Core is listed? Serpent King (talk) 12:01, 19 March 2015 (EDT)

Background colors for Ultimate

We need to figure out something to do for the table background colors in Ultimate. It's looking like most if not all bosses will appear in both Classic and Adventure, Giga Bowser has an appearance in Classic and has a non-boss appearance in Bowser's Final Smash, and Rathalos has all three! At a minimum we should standardize the "priority" of the background colors and leave a comment on the table for editors. SuperFalconBros (talk) 09:44, 19 November 2018 (EST)

Crazy Hand in Ultimate

Within the leaked music, Crazy Hand has his own battle theme listed to him. Should that count as him being confirmed for the game? Ice Cream Melee (talk) 04:14, 24 November 2018 (EST)

Not only that, but it's an entirely new remix, not a rip from another game.

Crazy wasn't the only leaked boss, though. In the datamine, a few more bosses were found:

-Ganon (LoZ) -Marx (Kirby) -Darz (filename, seems to be part of a "World of Dark" thing. Kinda complicated to explain, look it up -What appears to be Galeem and Darz fused together.

And that's all she wrote. These should all be added pronto. 108.56.71.43 20:49, 24 November 2018 (EST)

Does the Flying Man count as a stage boss?

Like Yellow Devil, Ridley, and Metal Face, attacking him will make him fight for you. While he only has 2 attacks, Yellow Devil only has 3. Does the Flying Man count as a stage boss? 72.203.118.154 03:23, January 2, 2020 (EST)

So, after having a little debate about this with another user, we both realized that what is and isn't a stage boss is kind of arbitrary. So, should the stage bosses just be removed from this page and just acknowledged as stage hazards? There have always been characters who act as hazards, but aren't listed as stage bosses, such as Nabbit, Kamek, Palkia, Dialga Cresellia, Shy Guys, Klaptraps, Piranha Plant (on the Mushroom Kingdom 64 stage) and probably a few more I'm missing, all comparable to the Dark Emperor. 72.203.118.154 16:25, February 3, 2020 (EST)
