Deletion

I support deletion, because I didn't even know who this character was before today, or even that he was part of the Rex Mii costume. And like Miles said, he doesn't have any sort of animation focused on him. Awesomelink234, the Super Cool Gamer Leave a message if needed 14:12, June 28, 2019 (EDT)

I also support it. Why does this page exist? I only undid Miles’ edit on Munchie because we can’t get rid of that until we get eid of this. Lou Cena (talk) 14:15, June 28, 2019 (EDT)
Oppose, because Azurda is a separate character that is part of Rex's Mii costume, in which that characters that are a part of a Mii costume get pages. Azurda also has an animation of bouncing in the hood of the costume. Why shouldn't he get a page? It was originally thought that Navi couldn't have one before, but it was decided that her page is fine despite her appearance being very minor (a taunt). Or Cappy who only got one on the grounds that he was a hat (the taunts getting pages wasn't discussed before that). Is being apart of a Mii costume really not enough in Azurda's case? Wolff (talk) 14:31, June 28, 2019 (EDT)
Cappy is a Mii costume piece in his own right. Navi is a borderline case that I'm not sure warrants a page. This, being a minor sub-part of a costume themed after another character, is outright unnecessary. Miles (talk) 14:35, June 28, 2019 (EDT)
How is it unnecessary? Azurda's page is still under the same grounds of a Mii costume, sub-part or not. Wolff (talk) 14:51, June 28, 2019 (EDT)
It's... not an Azurda costume??? It's a Rex costume. Not complicated. Miles (talk) 14:56, June 28, 2019 (EDT)
But Azurda is part of the costume. Maybe not the basis, but still part of it nonetheless. Wolff (talk) 14:57, June 28, 2019 (EDT)
So he warrants being mentioned as part of the Rex article. I don't see why this warrants a page when the entirety of his Smash relevance is, at most, one sentence. Miles (talk) 15:01, June 28, 2019 (EDT)
But he is a separate character. Which have gotten pages due to being part of a character's move or taunt. Why can't that count for a costume? He wouldn't be the first character to only have one sentence or two explaining their Smash involvement on their page. Wolff (talk) 15:07, June 28, 2019 (EDT)

(Reset indent) This page's creation always irked me from the start. Azurda is part of the costume, but that's it. He's not part of a taunt (Navi) or moveset (Cappy), he's just there. Aidan, the Rurouni 15:11, June 28, 2019 (EDT)

But he's there nonetheless. (And Cappy technically isn't part of Mario's move set, he just appears on his hat during one of his move, which his hat isn't part of the said move). Wolff (talk) 15:14, June 28, 2019 (EDT)
Either way, Cappy has a page because he's a Mii costume hat. He is the costume. Azurda is not.
Also, let the record show that I don't particularly support Navi's page either, since, as I stated when I put the delete template on it, Navi's page was created on the assumption that Cappy's was made because he's a taunt character, when really, Cappy's was there because he's a Mii costume hat. Aidan, the Rurouni 15:15, June 28, 2019 (EDT)
I think it's important to note too that Azurda exists solely as aesthetic. He might as well be a stuffed doll. Taunt characters and Cappy at least have more going for them. On that note, Munchie's the same; he doesn't really deserve a page in the long run. Hell, even if Morgana wasn't in All-Out Attack, he'd still warrant a page more than Azurda. Aidan, the Rurouni 15:22, June 28, 2019 (EDT)
We don't generally make full articles for mii costumes, and especially parts of mii costumes, case closed, have a nice day. SerpentKing 15:22, June 28, 2019 (EDT)
"We don't generally make full articles for mii costumes", if that is truly the case, then why does Geno, Teddie, Ribbon Girl, Chibi-Robo, Robot Kit, Chocobo, Viridi, Yiga Clan, the Protagonists from Persona 3 & 4, K.K. Slider, Lip, Tails, Nia, and even Rex himself all have pages if the basis for warranting their pages are their Mii costumes? Azurda, maybe, but that specific statement doesn't make sense with the others. Wolff (talk) 15:41, June 28, 2019 (EDT)
I wasn't aware of those when I said that, but my point stands. This is only half a costume basically. SerpentKing 15:44, June 28, 2019 (EDT)
But half is still half, so why can't that count? Wolff (talk) 15:51, June 28, 2019 (EDT)

(Reset indent) Azurda isn't even half of Rex's costume. The costume is very clearly supposed to be Rex, and Azurda appearing as a cameo. Aidan, the Rurouni 15:53, June 28, 2019 (EDT)

And a cameo with a Mii costume really isn't enough? Wolff (talk) 15:54, June 28, 2019 (EDT)
And Azurda's picture was on Rex's page before as he is part of the costume. Wolff (talk) 15:55, June 28, 2019 (EDT)
You see nothing wrong with the question you just asked? The focus of the costume is Rex. Case closed. Aidan, the Rurouni 15:56, June 28, 2019 (EDT)
Ok, the it's like Silver then. I would have probably understood if it was explained like that. Azurda's picture shouldn't have been deleted though. Wolff (talk) 15:58, June 28, 2019 (EDT)
Azurda's solo artwork has no place on Rex's page. Being in the base picture (the one in the origin section) is fine, because there, he's with Rex. Aidan, the Rurouni 16:00, June 28, 2019 (EDT)

Azurda lines

Do you think we should make a page simply showing all of Gramps's lines that he can say during the match and for what scenario, including the Pyra Mythra exclusive ones, similar to Mr. Resetti as an Assist Trophy? Pratikmii03 (talk) 20:01, March 21, 2021 (EDT)

I think that would be appropriate, yes. Miles (talk) 20:27, March 21, 2021 (EDT)
