name?[edit]

seriously, where is it from? source? and not "Lucario has the move in the Pokemon games" 'cause that's a horrible argument. Pikachu's moveset has moves a Pikachu can't learn in those games. FyreNWater - (TalkContributions ) 05:20, February 25, 2008 (EST)

Aura Sphere is Lucario's signature move, basically. What else could that attack possibly be??? - Gargomon251 11:22, February 25, 2008 (EST)
Seriously [1] He even goes through the exact same motions to do it. It couldn't possibly be any other move. It's Aura Sphere, in all of it's Hadouken imitating glory. --Phred 14:48, February 25, 2008 (EST)
dude, you can use the same argument to claim the move is called the Hadouken. FyreNWater - (TalkContributions ) 16:43, February 25, 2008 (EST)
You're being too pedantic. There is absolutely no way that this isn't Aura Sphere. Have you even see Lucario and the Mystery of Mew? All he does in that movie is use Aura Sphere over and over again. IT'S INGRAINED INTO HIS DNA. --Phred 02:40, February 27, 2008 (EST)
Just like Jigglypuff has Sing. Gargomon251 02:44, February 27, 2008 (EST)

It's because moves like these are prime examples of how Poke'mon attack (Pikachu uses thunderbolt and thunder, Jigglypuff uses sing, and Dialga uses Roar of Time), and besides, the Movie was the first thing to introduce Lucario, so even if the move wasn't in the game doesn't mean he can't use it. Now if the game introduced him first, then it might be a different story. Oh yes, when he is using Aura Sphere, I think his hands are moving while the move is charging, and the way his hands appear to be moving is outward so it looks like the sphere is always held in his hands as it charges. Images[edit]

I wanted to upload a picture of Lucario firing aura sphere, so I also uploaded another version of the charging image that shows it more clearly. Should I take down the previous image? Klepto 18:30, 12 April 2008 (UTC)

Kirby's Aura Sphere[edit]

I don't know whether to put this here or on Kirby's talk page, but I think this is the best spot for it.
Either way, I was going through All-Star with Kirby last night, and I copied Lucario. Call me crazy, but I think that it ALSO is boosted with damage, even though Kirby lacks Lucario's Aura ability. Was I just seeing things, or does Kirby get a Lucario-eqsue boost with damage? --Pikaandpi (talk) 17:41, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

Damage[edit]

Can someone please test out how much damage the sphere does in with the following properties:

  • Charging, not charged, Lucario at 0%
  • Charging, fully charged, Lucario at 0%
  • Charging, not charged, Lucario at 200%
  • Charging, fully charged, Lucario at 200%
  • Projectile, not charged, Lucario at 0%
  • Projectile, fully charged, Lucario at 0%
  • Projectile, not charged, Lucario at 200%
  • Projectile, fully charged, Lucario at 200%

With Charging I mean the small amount of damage that is given when you touch a charging sphere. Thanks.Malefix (talk) 19:01, 6 July 2009 (UTC)

I have the data now. 79.211.65.112 12:53, 14 August 2009 (UTC)

Glitch???[edit]

I was olimar. I was at Pokemon Stadium 2, and Lucario shot a Aura Bulb at me, then I shielded, not perfect, I think. Then there was a lag, and the game was still for a second, and then the aura bulb was shooting beneath me, in the opposite direction. Perhaps worth looking into? Also, I was on the platform above suspended above the ground in the normal type stage. --Kill Maim (talk) 07:34, 14 August 2009 (UTC)

Sounds like a glitch to me, perhaps someone can try to reproduce it? Anyway, a perfect shield usually results in the sphere shooting in a similar direction to the original one, except in an upward angle. 79.211.65.112 12:56, 14 August 2009 (UTC)

>Yeah... Ive been trying to recreate it. If it does work, Ill look into other applications for it. It could be useful in group battles with friendly fire on.--Kill Maim (talk) 08:55, 15 August 2009 (UTC)

Yes! it does. The Aura Bulb will infact fall flat down after reversing. As far as Ive seen. The lag Is incorrect, possible just me lagging from the 4 other people playing- it was wifi- and I did perfect shield. All I proved is distance effects the angle the aura bulb is shielded off into-as well make the aura bulb fall down, if it is shieled correctly. But thats been proven. Right? Or perhaps it could be affected in some way if it was grabbed (In reference to picking up a shadow ball melee), or reflected, etc, etc.

How did Aura Sphere make the weaker noise at over 300%?[edit]

I can't figure out what causes the weaker Aura Sphere noise at such high percentages. Is it the equipment? Or something else? Because I think this should be mentioned. Unowninator (talk) 19:25, 7 July 2018 (EDT)

You mean at the beginning of the match? Because the sound it makes depends on how much you charge the attack, not how much damage you take. Aidan, the College-Bound Rurouni 20:01, 7 July 2018 (EDT)
