Wizzrobe (or simply Wizzy) is a Florida smasher who is often renowned for his prowess in many installments of Smash. He has taken sets off of top players in all four games. Along with Gahtzu and Gravy, he is a member of 20GX, a group dedicated to optimizing Captain Falcon. He is currently ranked 3rd on the Central Florida Melee Power Rankings and 12th on the 2016 SSBMRank. He is considered to be the best Smash 64 Yoshi player in the world, a solid Sheik player in Smash 4, and was widely considered to be the best Sonic player in Project M before retiring from the game.

He was trained by fellow Yoshi player and Florida smasher SheerMadness in Smash 64.

True to his position on the current Melee rankings, he is now considered to be the best Captain Falcon player in the world.

Tournament history

Wizzrobe's first impact in a Project M tournament was at Zenith 2013, which he won without dropping a single set (and only dropping one game to Hungrybox in grand finals), defeating top players such as Hungrybox, Mew2King, and Unknown522 by noticeable margins. Because of this, he is often credited for the subsequent nerfing of Sonic in the later versions of Project M.

He later attended Apex 2014 and placed 5th in Smash 64 singles, defeating Kefit and Firo in his round 2 pool before losing to SuPeRbOoMfAn in winners' finals of the pool, and then making it out from losers' side by defeating Star King. He then defeated JaimeHR 3-2 in losers' top 7 before losing to Mariguas 1-3 in losers' quarters.

At CEO 2014, Wizzrobe placed 2nd in Project M singles, defeating ESAM 2-0 and Mew2King 2-0 to make it to winners' finals against ZeRo, where he lost 1-3. After defeating Mew2King 3-2 in losers' finals, he won the first set of grand finals 3-0 against ZeRo, but lost the second set 1-3. He also won Project M doubles with Plup, defeating Mew2King and ZeRo 3-1 in both winners' finals and grand finals, and placed 5th in Melee singles, notably defeating Colbol 2-1 in losers' top 8.

Wizzrobe then made another Melee impact at Zenith 2014, where he placed 5th in Melee singles, upsetting Axe 2-1 in winners' quarters before losing to Hax 1-3 in winners' semis and then to Zhu 0-2 in losers' quarters. He also placed 3rd in Smash 64 singles, defeating The Z 3-2 in winners' semis before losing to SuPeRbOoMfAn 0-3 in winners' finals and then to KeroKeroppi 1-3 in losers' finals. However, he did not perform as well in Project M singles, where he was defeated by Junebug 1-2 in winners' quarters and Frozen 1-2 in losers' bracket, placing 9th.

One month later at Tipped Off 10, Wizzrobe won Project M singles, defeating Mew2King in winners' finals and Master Raven in grand finals, and Project M doubles with Plup, defeating Mew2King and Hungrybox in winners' finals and ESAM and MVD in grand finals, albeit losing the first set of grand finals. He also placed 4th in Melee singles, where after losing to Axe 1-2 in winners' quarters, he made a run through losers' bracket, taking out Twitch 2-0, Gahtzu 2-0, and Plup 3-2 before losing to Colbol 0-3 in losers' semis.

In 2016, at WTFox 2, Wizzrobe had another notable accomplishment with his 4th place finish in Melee. Wizzrobe defeated Hungrybox 3-0 in winner's quarter-finals by using Hbox's style against him, playing very defensive and making Hbox attack and rush. His punish game and Hbox not able to affectively edge-guard him in key situations made Wizzrobe successful. Wizzrobe went on to face Mango in winner's semi-finals but lost 3-2. He then defeated The Moon 3-1 in loser's quarter-finals and finished his tournament by losing to Mew2King 3-2 in loser's semi-finals.
