Tantalus is a tournament organizer, commentator and semi-pro player from Hampstead, Maryland who mains Meta Knight in Brawl and R.O.B. in Smash 4 and Super Smash Bros Ultimate. He is a member of VGBootCamp. He is best known for being a tournament organizer for many East Coast events, including the Smash @ Xanadu series and Super Smash Con, which in 2019 was the largest exclusive Smash Bros event in history, bolstering 3,659 attendees. Tantalus was ranked 9th on the final MD/VA Brawl Power Rankings and was formerly ranked 8th on the MD/VA Smash 4 Power Rankings. He is also a former and current WR speedrunner for various NES games.
