Somo is a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate R.O.B. player from Japan, considered to be one of the best R.O.B. players in the country. He was initially a King K. Rool main and very influential in his early metagame, but he has since made him a secondary. He commonly uses King K. Rool in online tournaments on Smashmate, particularly the Tamisuma and Maesuma series, which he has historically placed highly in. He has defeated players such as Cosmos, Mr.R, Kome, and Suinoko. Being among the first successful King K. Rool players and a common feature in Tamisuma tournament coverage on YouTube, Somo had a heavy influence on the western metagame with his defensive playstyle.
Somo also mained R.O.B. in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, and has taken a set off of Songn and Arika.
