NEO is an American smasher from the MD/VA area who has spent time in numerous crews including USB, H2YL, and Team Ben. His tag is comprised of his initials.

Most notably, NEO was very well known for maining Roy in Melee (with strong secondaries in Marth and Sheik), and was considered to be the best Roy player prior to his retirement, with results that current Roy players have yet to match, having multiple Top 8 finishes at national tournaments. He managed to beat Ken in Roy dittos, claiming the red costume in the process.

In Brawl, NEO mained Marth, with Meta Knight as a secondary, and was usually considered the best Marth in the USA outside of mikeHAZE, known for his calculated and patient style. He had been playing since its release in 2008, and continued to play at a high level as of 2013.

In Smash 4, NEO mained Sheik, keeping his patient style from Brawl, and also played three of the Fire Emblem characters in Roy, Marth and Lucina before retiring later on in Smash 4's life.

NEO was ranked 3rd on the final MD/VA Brawl Power Rankings and was formerly ranked 5th on the MD/VA Smash 4 Power Rankings.
