Luminous!, formerly known as GUMBOLAYA!, is an SSBU Pit and Dark Pit player from New Jersey, and is considered to be one of the best Pit players in the world. He is currently ranked 15th on the New Jersey Smash Ultimate Power Rankings. Luminous! began competing in Smash Ultimate tournaments in early 2020, and placed decently at locals until the COVID-19 pandemic began. He found greater success in online tournaments, consistently making top 8 appearances at online tristate weeklies such as Fusion.exe and DNA.exe towards the end of 2020.
Luminous! performed well at tristate locals post-quarantine, leading to his breakout performance at CROSSxUP, where he finished in 9th place. He has taken sets off of players such as Juice, Mercury, BONK!, MPg, Andromeda, Pharaoh, and Vivi.
