Kurabba is a top level Smash 64 Yoshi from Japan. He is considered to be one of the best Yoshi mains there (along with Prince and bonobono) and uses the Red color scheme. As with many other Japanese players, he solely uses one character. He was invited as the final sponsored attendee by Shears/the 64 community to Super Smash Con 2016 as an alternative after some other top level Japanese players were unable to attend. One of Shear's statements was that he would most likely outplace KeroKeroppi even though he did not make it out of pools at Kansai 2016. Most players also did not know how strong he was as there are not many videos of him on NicoNico.
At Super Smash Con
After easily winning pools, he made it into brackets on the Winners Side. He then won round 1 vs. BarkSanchez and unexpectedly, the top player in South America, Alvin, which confirmed for many that Japan is stronger than Peru in smash 64. He then lost in the previous round to Wizzrobe in winners in Yoshi dittos. Shear's statement was then affirmed after winning vs. KeroKeroppi to make it into top 10. He then lost to his partner Wangera to place 7th, out placing the other 2 more well known Japanese Yoshi mains, Prince (9th) and Bonobono (17th).
