CaptainZack is an SSB4 Bayonetta main from Louisiana. In conjunction with Salem, he is considered to be one of the best Bayonetta players in the world. He is currently ranked 20th on the Panda Global Rankings v2, and 2nd on the Louisiana Smash 4 Power Rankings, and has taken sets off of top players such as Dabuz, Larry Lurr, Abadango, ANTi, Marss, Mr.E, ESAM, and Mew2King.
His most notable tournament has been GENESIS 4, where following a loss to Mr.R in Top 16, he went on an impressive Losers' run, placing 4th, defeating Marss, ANTi, komorikiri (albeit indirectly due to a controversial ruling by the TOs), and Abadango, before being eliminated by ZeRo in Losers' Semis.
He is known, and partly infamous for his colorful personality, in and out of game, making frequent usage of taunts, as well as dancing at his opponents.

- While commentating a match at TGC 7, CaptainZack revealed that his tag isn't a reference to fellow Smasher CaptainJack as commonly thought. Instead, the "Captain" title originated from his use of Olimar in Brawl.
