Controversy

On September 16th, 2021, Bankai released a TwitLonger where he revealed that he had sexually harassed and assaulted women in the past. He stated that he felt guilty for his past actions, apologized for those that he hurt, and was seeking therapy for his past behavior.[1] Following the release of the TwitLonger, several players, including his former roommate stringcheese, commented how his TwitLonger was vague. stringcheese also made several comments on the situation, noting that an anonymous user had already revealed the harassment and that stringcheese would've brought the harassment to light if Bankai did not publicly admit to it.[2]
