Alvin is ranked 2nd on the 64 League Rankings.

Tournament history

In Peruvian tournaments since 2011 he proved to be one of the 3 best players, besides Gerson and Marka, maining Fox while they played all games on Hyrule. At Tacna 2014, the first Peruvian tournament with North American players (SuPeRbOoMfAn and Mariguas) in attendence he won, thanks to SuPeRbOoMfAn taking out Gerson in the set with the infamous 53 minute long game, Marka then defeating SuPeRbOoMfAn and Alvin winning against Marka.

His first U.S. tournament was Super Smash Con 2016, where he disappointingly placed 13th. He lost against Prince and Kurabba, two Japanese Yoshi players who weren't considered tournament favorites.

After Smash Con 2016, however, he went on a winning streak in the U.S, placing 1st at SuperBoomed, GENESIS 4, Let's Go!, and CEO Dreamland. In this 4 tournaments he is 3-0 in sets against SuPeRbOoMfAn and only dropped 2 sets, one against Mariguas (total set count 4-1) and against BarkSanchez in the first set of Grand Finals at CEO Dreamland (in which he primarily sandbagged as Fox and Samus).

His winning streak ended at Super Smash Con 2017, his 6th US tournament. He was upset early by LD's Fox and eliminated by Fukurou in a close 2-3 set and finished 5th. In Loser's bracket he first had to face the number 1 rank of 2016 and tournament favourite, Wario (who was also upset by Kurabba) which was one of the most anticipated sets of all time, the number 1 of Peru (and 2nd seed) vs the number 1 of Japan (and 1st seed), the expected Grand Finals become a match where the loser would get 9th. It became very one sided, Alvin dominated wario's Pikachu with Falcon with a 4 stock in game 2 and a win in Pikachu dittos in game 3.

At Shine 2017 he was the favourite to win, but showed his weakness in the Yoshi matchup again. When he was behind in games he tried to counter-pick Mario against Wizzrobe which initially worked out in winner's finals but in the end he still lost in grand finals.

At GENESIS 5 he got his revenge against Fukurou but placed 2nd again behind SuPeRbOoMfAn who finished the last game with an infamous Falcon kick that led into an up-air combo.

At Super Smash Con 2018 he got 2nd again, getting a 1-3 with Pikachu against SuPeRbOoMfAn's Falcon in Winner's and Grand Finals. His most notable games where versus Isai, who went Pikachu in Winner's Quarters, where Alvin was at 2-2 with Pikachu and counterpicked and won with Captain Falcon in the last game. In his Loser's Finals rematch he had no trouble with Isai's Fox.

On January 24th, 2018, he signed with Coalition Gaming.

At Tacna All Stars 2018 and Inka Fest 2019 he proved his status of being number 1 in Peru, winning the first one but losing the latter against US player Wizzrobe again in two 2-3 sets in Grand Finals. In the final game and 2 1/2 minutes remaining he and his opponent were on the last stock with Wizzrobe having over 100% damage and Alvin only 23% when Wizzrobe busted out a huge tech-chase combo and finished with an up-tilt into a Ground Pound.

At Super Smash Con 2019, his 10th US tournament, he got upset in pools by Loto which forced him to play SuPeRbOoMfAn in the first round of Top 32 whose Kirby sent him to the Loser's bracket. There he defeated Nackle, Stranded using the tag Mercy whose Yoshi brought him close to a loss but Stranded went Fox in game 2 & 4, losing both leading to a 3-2 for Alvin, and Maha 3-0. Then the rematch of SSC 2017 against wario happened and this time Alvin lost leading to a rather low 7th place.
