L33tSilvie

(Contribs) (Edit Count)

Well, it has certainly been a while since I joined this wiki (about six months or so), and I feel that I am ready for rollback powers. As evidenced by my contributions and edit count, the majority of my edits are reverts to the mainspace (which is more than most users can say). I am usually on here every day that I can, although i have long absences (either for family or religous purposes). When I see an edit, I always immediately click the "diff" button to see what changed. If I find it to be vandalism or unnecessary, I will revert it. If I find that it makes a good point, but is poorly executed, then I will clean it up a bit. I was told by Shadowcrest on Gmail Chat that rollback is only for obvious vandalism, so I believe that I can control myself in edit wars and such. Oh, speaking of edit wars, I've only ever been in one. It was with a random IP who kept claiming that Peach hit with her "buttocks" in Peach Bomber rather than her hip. Eventually, that was resolved by hands not belonging to me, but I always have a good point in my reverts and edits.

Tl:dr;

  • More mainspace edits than anything else, most of which are reverts.
  • Active.
  • Not a vandal, obviously.
  • Always checks diff on edits that pop up.
  • Only reverts unnecessary things or vandalism.
  • Has good control, only one edit war to date.
  • I just made my first-ever wall of text. Woo-hoo!

So, I leave it up to you, SmashWiki. Shall I obtain rollback and continue my vandal-fighting efforts? Or shall I remain rollbackless? I hope all the points I have said above can influence your decision for the better, but it is your choice entirely.

All regards, L33t Silvie I see wat u did thar...

  • Yep. L33t's got plenty of useful reverts, which is the criteria that decides an RfR. Not necessarily required, but true anyways, is that L33t's a nice enough guy too. Miles (talk) 02:50, 27 August 2009 (UTC)
