Bayonetta (SSB4)

Considering the fact she won the Smash Ballot, I feel she deserves some lime light. Her smash bros profile has a lot of work put into it, she has a lot of extra abilities, like Bullet Arts and Bat Within, that make her one of the more unique characters in the game. And I just feel that she deserves some recognition for that. The one character everyone thought would never get into Smash Bros. not only getting in, but getting in due to popular demand. That and the fact they were able to tone down her sexual nature for an E10+ game, while still staying true to her character, I feel was an amazing feat by Sakurai.

Strong oppose Same reason as Serpent King. For my signature. TabuuandMasterCore 14:07, 2 July 2016 (EDT)
The 46 featured articles so far have consisted of 11 characters, 12 stages , 3 game mechanics, 3 games, 3 game menu areas (SSE, My Music, and Stickers), 2 bosses, 2 items (counting the Final Smash), 2 cosmetic items (music and costumes), 2 techniques, 2 fan creations (Smashtasm and tier list), 1 special move, 1 about AI, 1 about glitches, and 1 about stage aspects (platform). At a 11:12:23 ratio of characters:stages:misc, you have a 23.9%, 26.1%, and 50% featuring proportion, respectively. For a game based heavily on the stages and fighters, these ratios are pretty much expected. If you're getting tired of us recently having featured character articles (which is a whopping number of 2 if you go back to the Master Hand glitch), you need a different voting system. Super Smash Bros. Melee in competitive play

It really shows how a game designed to be non-competitive can become a competitive scene where people can win up to 15k, shows ups and downs of a important part of this Wiki, it also shows how much the competitive scene, and Smash Bros. as a whole advanced from its early days. That's including SmashWiki too. It is written in a way that many people wouldn't imagine doing, many people don't even think there was a platinum age. It also is written in long and informing paragraphs that definitly tells us a great our community is to put in that much time into one article. I can go on and on about how good this article is and how much it deserves to be featured, but i cannot make up your minds. You, and the rest of the SmashWiki community, will judge this article wisely PoultrysigSSB4.pngPoultryPoultrysigSSBM.png(talk) the God-Slayer 10:53, 1 July 2016 (EDT)

Clearing the suggestions after a restart of the FA system

The following suggestions were cleared out to restart the feature article system. They are not considered failed suggestions.

King K. Rool (SSBU)

Entire page is extremely detailed with tons of tech and uses for each move. Probably one of the most detailed SSBU articles so far. The Crownerang page has 4 techs on it already as well, with execution and uses detailed, although that's probably too minor. --Plague von Karma (talk) 10:13, 1 March 2019 (EST)

Oppose It's way too soon for this now. Aidan, the College-Bound Rurouni 22:26, 28 June 2018 (EDT)

Oppose. As the SW:FA page itself says, "articles should be reviewed for accuracy, completeness, and style." Being a page of a yet unreleased game, it misses the first two qualities at best. For use as my signature icon. Nokii ε (T · C · L) 22:31, 28 June 2018 (EDT)

Oppose: The lack of completeness is probably the biggest problem for the obvious reason of that it's still in development. We don't know things like: if there will be more newcomers (and if so, who they are), if there will be more stages, etc. And the information we do know is subject to change. Not that the article is "bad", just not suitable for FA for now. VoqéoT 23:07, 28 June 2018 (EDT)

Bowser (SSB4)

Bowser had the most changes out of every returning Melee veteran in the transition from Brawl to Smash 4, and even though he hasn’t been in many tournaments, he’s a great character to play as, so I think he should be given a shot at being featured! SSB4DarkSonicHead.pngSpeed48 20:26, 28 June 2018 (EDT)

Support I'll take that! Fire Breath, anyone? Dragonfirebreath25 (talk) 00:23, 3 July 2018 (EDT)

King K. Rool

Not entirely sure if these are being taken right now, but I believe K. Rool's article is among the most complete of Ultimate's cast so far and serves as an example as to how they should look overall. Substantial amounts of info and an a complete movelist (bar Final Smash) with in-depth analysis all around. Not one notable player lacks a page, either. The special pages, especially Crownerang, are extremely detailed and perfectly explain the moves in question. In addition, there are many pages such as Crown sliding with large amounts of detail as well. Being an SSBU Character page, it's as relevant as it can get to Smash, and it seems to have a sufficient opening paragraph. Thus it appears to fulfill all the requirements for a page to be featured on the wiki, and is a representation of how dedicated the K. Rool playerbase is. After all, the ballot is partly what got him in!
