SmashWiki:Custom skin proposal

I've been thinking of making a custom skin for the wiki. I've had a few ideas, so here they are:

diversity
clearsky
cloronium
subspacial

For a live demo, paste the following text into either User:Username/monobook.css or User:Username/monaco.css (you 'll probably have to do a hard refresh):

@Toomai - You could provide the code [somewhere]. Then, people could copy and paste the code in their personal monaco.css. That way, testing won't interrupt everyone else's view. BNK ^[E|T|C] 22:26, September 15, 2010 (UTC)

My plan is this: I will make the skins as part of my userspace so I can work on them. People will be able to try them out by C&P'ing as you said (I'll post links once I think they're complete enough), but for those who don't want to do that, I'll be putting up sample images as well. Clearsky

I really don't like it. It's far too blue for my liking. Not that I have anything against blue, it's just too blue. The tabs at the top of the page don't work very well (the text blue and tab blue are too similar). That's probably my main issue with it. That and the fact that one-color skins look ugly. :/ PenguinofDeath 21:34, September 18, 2010 (UTC)
