Pokémon Battle is a single-player event match in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. In it, the player is Greninja against Pikachu, Charizard, and Lucario in a one-stock free-for-all match.

Progression

This event is unlocked by clearing Up to Speed. Completing the event unlocks the left path.

Completing the event on normal or hard difficulty while KO'ing at least two of the opponents awards a Food Lover X Speed equipment.

Trivia

  • Jigglypuff and Mewtwo are the only Pokémon characters in the game to not appear in the match.
    • However, this leaves each character involved in this match the Pokémon starters in the 3DS version, and also means this event uses the same Pokémon as Fire-Type Frenzy, only that the player controls Greninja instead of Charizard.
  • Coincidentally, all three opponents for Greninja in this event are fought individually in the first half of said Pokémon's Classic Mode route in Ultimate.
  • In the NTSC description, "battle royale" is misspelled without the e in "royale".
