PG Key to Frostbite 2017 was an online Super Smash Bros. for Wii U tournament organized by Panda Global and held from February 12th to 16th, 2017. It was part of the PG Key tournament series. This event was a qualifier for Frostbite 2017, and its winner was flown out to the event as an honorary player temporarily sponsored by Panda Global. Anyone from North America could, provided they had a stable Internet connection. Notable players that entered the tournament are Dath, Cosmos, Zage, Kodystri, Remzi, 8BitMan, and RiotLettuce.

Although Cosmos won the tournament, he was not flown out due to a conflicting schedule. The sponsored player was Zage, who placed 2nd.
