Trivia

Box ssb j.jpg
  • Original Class of '64 is the first Event Tourney in which only certain items are available.
  • The Smash Ball is the only item available in the tournament not to be present in the original Super Smash Bros.
    • Likewise, the Fan and Red Shell are the only items that debuted in the original Super Smash Bros. to not appear, due to the fact that they are not present in Ultimate.
  • The banner is based off of the Japanese boxart for the original Super Smash Bros. This includes the fighters being posed in similar positions.
    • Therefore, the four unlockable Smash 64 characters (Luigi, Captain Falcon, Ness, and Jigglypuff) are the only characters from the aforementioned game not to appear on the banner.
