Hitbox visualization for Mario's up tilt
Hitbox visualization showing Mario's up tilt.

OverviewEdit

Mario performs a spinning uppercut. The move is very fast, with hitboxes starting on frame 5, and the hitboxes have above-average duration, lasting for 7 frames. It can be a useful combo tool at lower percents, being able to combo into a variety of moves, but its hitboxes are rather small and are nearly entirely vertically oriented, meaning Mario must be close to or under an opponent to hit them. This difficulty in landing the move can be alleviated by comboing into it from other moves, namely Mario's down throw. The move lacks a sourspot, so the possible followups from it are consistent.
