This is the list of known changes in version 1.1.0 of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

UniversalEdit

  •   Fixed a glitch causing throws in Training Mode to gradually reduce knockback taken by the victim if the Fixed Damage option was turned on, even to the point of them taking no knockback.
  •   The AI for various characters has been adjusted.
  •   The short hop aerial multiplier is now correctly applied to fighters with more than one midair jump.

  •   The animation for crouching when holding an item has been adjusted.

KirbyEdit

  •   Up aerial has less ending lag (FAF 40 → 38).
  •   The animation for Final Cutter has been adjusted.

LuigiEdit

  •   Up aerial has less ending lag (FAF 30 → 27).

NessEdit

  •   Increased distance covered by air dodge (20 → 25).
  •   PK Flash can charge for longer (89 frames → 91) and has an higher factor for increasing damage by charge (80 → 92), effectively increasing its maximum damage (25% → 27%).
  •   PK Flash has an higher maximum size multiplier (1.43× → 1.7×).

JigglypuffEdit

  •   Reduced the deflation time of Puff Up (121 frames → 60).

PeachEdit

  •   Dash attack has reduced knockback scaling (140 → 130).

DaisyEdit

  •   Dash attack has reduced knockback scaling (140 → 130).
  •   The animation for Toad has been adjusted.

BowserEdit

  •   Flying Slam's custom acceleration stats for both Bowser and the opponent were slightly altered, replacing the Smash 4 stats that were still in use.
    •   Bowser's base acceleration per frame during the tug-o-war has increased (0.21 → 0.2235).
    •   Bowser's reduction per % of the base acceleration during the tug-o-war has decreased (0.00075 → 0.0005).
    •   Opponent's lowest guaranteed acceleration per frame during the tug-o-war has decreased (0.03 → 0.024).
    •   Opponent's base acceleration per frame during the tug-o-war has increased (0.19 → 0.22).
    •   Opponent's reduction per % of the base acceleration during the tug-o-war has decreased (0.00075 → 0.0007).

  •   The reflection damage multiplier for Super Sheet has been increased (1.5x → 1.6x).

  •   C4 is less likely to fall off a character after hitting them (damage / 64 → damage / 96).

  •   Increased distance covered by air dodge (20 → 25).

SonicEdit

  •   The animation for crouching when holding an item has been adjusted.
  •   The animation for swinging with a battering weapon has been adjusted.

LucarioEdit

  •   Decreased damage multiplier for Aura Storm (1.3× → 1.15×).

R.O.B.Edit

  •   Removed instant Gyro Cancelling.

Wii Fit TrainerEdit

  •   Dash attack has less ending lag (FAF 43 → 39).
  •   Header's soccer ball travels more quickly when headed (2.8 → 3.5).

Mii BrawlerEdit

  •   Increased the time required to restore Onslaught's knockback multiplier (3 seconds → 4).

Mii SwordfighterEdit

  •   Gale Strike has significantly less range (sustained frames 100 → 52), now travelling about half as far.
    •   However it travels faster (speed 0.55 → 0.65).
  •   Chakram has significantly less range (sustained frames 45 → 23), now travelling about half as far.
  •   Shuriken of Light has more range (life: 30 → 38).

Mii GunnerEdit

  •   Lunar Launch covers more vertical distance (Height multiplier: 4.7× → 6.2×; gravity: 0.126 → 0.214).
  •   Bomb Drop explodes sooner after being hit (5 frames → 4).
  •   Bomb Drop explodes later after being deflected (10 frames → 11).
  •   Bomb Drop travels faster after being deflected (0.07 → 0.075 (base speed); 0.04 → 0.055 (additional).
  • Arm Rocket:
    •   Travels faster (Speed multiplier: 2.7× → 2.9×).
    •   Can deviate more during flight (Maximum deviation: 30° → 45°).
    •   Decelerates later (5 frames → 12) and slower (0.3 → 0.08).
    •   Has less landing lag (18 frames → 14).
    •   Has an higher minimum flight angle (25° → 30°).

ShulkEdit

  •   The second victory pose's animation has been adjusted.

Bowser Jr.Edit

  •   Abandon Ship! has more air dodge frames, but they start later (frames 2-25 → 3-30).
  •   After using Abandon Ship!, Bowser Jr. can no longer air dodge more than once.
  •   Shortened the amount of time required to input another jump or air dodge after jumping out of Clown Kart Dash (40 frames → 32).
  •   When using Clown Kart Dash to collide into a wall, Bowser Jr. descends instead of ascends. This removes its ability to stall an opponent.
  •   Bowser Jr. loses less horizontal speed after colliding into a wall with Clown Kart Dash (0.7× → 0.62×).

KenEdit

  •   Increased the detection range of proximity attacks to match Ryu's ([2,5,13] → [4,5,30]).

BayonettaEdit

  •   Witch Time's minimum duration after the penalty for repeated uses is increased (5 frames → 22).
  •   Witch Time's duration scaling is lower (40 → 30).
  •   Witch Time's regeneration per frame is slower (0.04 → 0.03).
  •   A glitch with Witch Time has been created, with its slowdown duration now being capable of underflowing and becoming extremely long under certain circumstances.

InklingEdit

  •   Splat Bomb deals more damage (8%-14% → 9%-15%).
  •   Splat Bomb applies more ink (80/140 → 110/170).

RidleyEdit

  •   Space Pirate Rush has three additional animations.
  •   Ridley has more horizontal speed after jumping out of Space Pirate Rush (3 → 4) and decelerates slower (0.145 → 0.135).
    •   He also sustains more gravity (0.14 → 0.15).
  •   Ridley can land sooner after jumping out of Space Pirate Rush (19 frames → 17).
  •   Ridley and his opponent are KO'd sooner when passing the bottom blastline during Space Pirate Rush.
  •   Ridley loses more speed after whiffing a Space Pirate Rush (Horizontal speed multiplier: 0.65× → 0.6×).
  • Wing Blitz
    •   Ridley travels faster at the start of the move when charging forward or backwards (3.6 → 4.6/4.2 (forward/backwards)).
    •   Ridley loses more speed after bumping into a wall (Horizontal speed multiplier: 0.3× → 0.25×).
    •   Ridley loses less speed during landing (Horizontal speed multiplier: 0.45× → 0.55×).
    •   Ridley starts decelerating sooner (frame 6 → frame 2/4 (forward/backwards)).
    •   Ridley decelerates more during the forward charge (0.125 → 0.138).
    •   Ridley flies at a slightly higher angle during the forward charge (-7° → -5°).

IsabelleEdit

  •   Up and down aerials have less landing lag (12 frames → 9).
  •   Lloid Trap's detection range is longer (6.8u → 8.5u).

Fishing Rod:

  •   Maximum rod length with smash input increased (52 → 58).
  •   Maximum rod length with tilt input decreased (42 → 38).
  •   Decreased the travel speed of the hook (tilt: 2.2 → 2; smash: 3.8 → 3.6).
  •   Decreased the window for smash inputs (6 frames → 4).

IncineroarEdit

  •   The animations for idling, walking, running, landing, crouching with an item equipped and shielding have been adjusted.
  •   The animations for side taunt and down taunt when facing the right have been adjusted.
