Origin

Flat Zone 2 is an original music piece, designed solely for Super Smash Bros. Brawl and taken directly from that game, although the game says it is from a generic "Game & Watch" game. The piece uses its own electronic melody in a more upbeat tempo, later including an electric guitar, but the track has many Game & Watch-style sound effects playing over the top of this. While overall sounding very different, this track uses the same bassline as the original Flat Zone.

Other uses

This track was used in Mr. Game & Watch's character trailer on the official website and in his Classic Mode credits.

Trivia

  • Due to Final Fantasy gaining new music tracks with Sephiroth's Challenger Pack, Game & Watch has the fewest music tracks out of any series with a playable fighter and dedicated music category having only 2 music tracks in total.
