Origin

This track is a faster-paced, lyric-less remix of the Love Theme from the PlayStation 3 exclusive Metal Gear title Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. Though the game was released months after Brawl, the original track was prominently featured in its E3 2006 trailer. In the same game, Solid Snake also owns an iPod, which features this exact rendition of the track, albeit with the name Love Theme (action version).

This track is a remix of the main theme of the MSX2 game Metal Gear. The title of this track was inspired by how Hideo Kojima interpreted the track. The track begins with a remixed version of the opening jingle Operation Intrude N313, which played during Snake's swimming infiltration into Outer Heaven.

Origin

Despite Brawl implying that this track is a direct port of its original soundbyte by giving it a stamp saying 'Original' on the Sound test, this music piece is a slightly altered version of a track in Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty that played when Solid Snake or Raiden battled a member of the Dead Cell enemy team. This altered version is actually taken from Metal Gear Solid 2's official soundtrack CD - Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty - The Other Side.
