It isn't a bad character, it is actually very good. NOTE:(this is just my opinion, but Jiggly is still underrated.)huntercrunch (talk)

Her Rest isn't as easy to hit with as in Melee. It also doesn't KO as well now. The Rising pound no longer can be used to gain indefinite (infinite) horizontal distance. And Brawl's DI isn't as great as Melee's. --Posted by Pikamander2 (Talk) at 19:31, 4 June 2008 (UTC)

If Jigglypuff's shield breaks, and there's no ceiling to stop it, it dies instantly. Its Wall of Pain isn't as effective anymore because people can simply air dodge it several times while making it back to the stage. In Melee, you could only air dodge once, and if you did, you'd fall to your death. Those are some additional cons, but Pikamander pretty much covered the rest. Also, for future reference, don't personally attack others by saying they suck with Jigglypuff should they put it in the bottom tier. - GalaxiaD (talk) 19:46, 4 June 2008 (UTC)

First of all, the timing is just different. I've stalled with pound in brawl before. Second, Did you read my note? I said it was just my opinion. Sure I could have worded it better, but I clearly stated that it was my opinion. btw i got rid of that last part.huntercrunch (talk)

Well, I don't have her in the bottom of mine, more like the middle. Her big problems are her light weight, slow speed, and floatiness. All of these lead to her being easily take advantage of by higher tier characters. Also, her rest has been toned down in power, and while the flower is nice, it is never meaningful as in any case where it could be, she will still be asleep when your opponent gets back to you and hits you hard. Not to say that Jigglypuff doesn't have her good points. Even without the rising pound, her wall of pain is still quite good, and she can put up a good showing against many characters. I just feel that she can be taken advantage of much to easily. Clarinet Hawk (talk) 21:09, 7 June 2008 (UTC)

Jigglypuff is 5th on my list! I know some people will say that's a bit too high, but I really like his aerial play, and his attacks are pretty strong, even though he's so small. I just think he can KO quite easily, and dodge wll too. Ike6481 (talk) 15:46, 10 June 2008 (UTC)

Jigglypuff's final smash is very powerful and if you know where (and when) to use it, then you have a great chance of winning. Learner4 (talk) 16:55, 16 June 2008 (UTC)

Since items are off in competitive play, Final Smashes don't factor into tier lists. (As a side note, I am only pointing this out to give an explanation as to why it wasn't considered. Don't start a debate here on if items should be in competitive play). Clarinet Hawk (talk · contributions) 03:39, 17 June 2008 (UTC)

its because shes Lame very very very lame.72.197.66.113 23:06, 18 June 2008 (UTC)

Shouldn't Jigglypuff's light weight, floatiness, and weak attacks be used to the Jigglypuff user's advantage. Having weak attacks allows for a great combo ability. Being the lightest and floatiest character means that the Jigglypuff user will have an easy time escaping comboes, performing comboes, and edgeguarding the opponent. Jigglypuff's attacks are actually fast, and it also has fast air-speed. Yes I know people say that Jigglypuff's light weight, floatiness, and slow speed are the reasons that Jigglypuff isn't good. Even though I main Jigglypuff doesn't mean that I agree or dissagree with Jigglypuff being placed in a low tier list position. Y462 (talk) 00:54, 19 July 2008 (UTC)

I forgot to mention that Jigglypuff's floatiness and air-speed are what allow for the existence of the devastating technique known as the Wall of Pain. Y462 (talk) 01:07, 19 July 2008 (UTC)

All everyone seems to focus on is the negatives. Use stragety when playing as any characters. People focus on negatives because usually they just rush at the opponent (watch an online player playing as Toon Link or Kirby, and count how many times they use a stall and fall, or Stone, OR Final Cutter. So many times that you can just tell when its going to happen.) See If they knew some good strageties, then it will be hard to find people in the low teirs. Learner4 (talk) 16:00, 19 July 2008 (UTC)

I do think, like every character, if you just get used to the controls you can use jiggly well. Solar flute (talk) 03:42, 3 September 2008 (UTC)
