Forums: Index Watercooler What happens when two notable smashers have the same tag?

There's a guy named Riot from Florida that has been taking some names (taken sets off of Ryo, M2K, Static Manny, etc) and has taken multiple VSGC weeklies, but there is another Riot (the best brawl zelda) that holds the ssbwiki player profile. Is there some way we can resolve this? I'm uploading this to use as my signature, disregard. Kite (talk) 19:16, 15 May 2016 (EDT)

Disambiguate as necessary; see Smasher:Zero for an example. Miles (talk) 19:27, 15 May 2016 (EDT)
The Riot from Florida's full tag is "RiotLettuce", so his smasher article can be named that. PokemonMasterJamal3 (talk) 20:10, 15 May 2016 (EDT)
Riot usually just enters tournaments as Riot. RiotLettuce is more of his "alternate" name. Anyway, personally I think Florida riot is more deserving of the original page, but if there's no way to change it I'll instead just write a Riot (Florida) page. Don't delete the original Riot, he's quite notable in brawl. Make a Riot (Florida) page. PenroImage.pngPenro 22:53, 15 May 2016 (EDT)
I need to turn Riot into a Disambiguation page. I'm copy/pasting Riot into a new page called "Riot (Massachusetts)" Is this okay? I'm uploading this to use as my signature, disregard. Kite (talk) 00:13, 16 May 2016 (EDT)
Actually nevermind. I talked to riot and he says his official tag is Riot Lettuce. My b I'm uploading this to use as my signature, disregard. Kite (talk) 00:20, 16 May 2016 (EDT)
