I know money draws the line on the term professional, but just how good is a "professional"? In another way, you can call them mercenaries, or sellswords who fight in exchange for money. Would people who fight for fun be considered someone with weak skill, or there talent has just yet to surface? If two professionals were to fight would it be anything but different if two brawlers who without pay were to fight? If that fire were so wide spread then I would be the first to jump into the raging inferno.

Pros use MK. /10MKs other than that, I have no idea what you just said JtM =^] (talk) 02:06, 15 May 2009 (UTC)

Pros don't just use MK. coughbosscoughcoughtapioncoughninjalinkcoughcoughcough Blue Ninjakoopa 02:50, 15 May 2009 (UTC)
  • Facepalm* Tapion only uses MK now. lol And it was supposed to be sarcastic. JtM =^] (talk) 02:51, 15 May 2009 (UTC)
...what? Tapion uses Snake brah. Blue Ninjakoopa 03:32, 15 May 2009 (UTC)
Which Tapion are you talking about? Whenever midwest players are talking about MKs, they are like "We have so many, Bowyer, Rofa, lain, TAPION, etc." JtM =^] (talk) 03:43, 15 May 2009 (UTC)
Isn't there only ONE Tapion? You confuse me bro. Blue Ninjakoopa 03:45, 15 May 2009 (UTC)
*Facepalm again* only one, Tapion hasn't used Snake for a year (literally 08 :p) JtM =^] (talk) 04:27, 15 May 2009 (UTC)
He used him only a few months ago... also, lrn2inputcode Blue Ninjakoopa 04:11, 15 May 2009 (UTC)
I can, thank you very much. And instead of arguing about your fail of facts to back your statements up, why dont you actually ASK A MIDWEST TOURNEY PLAYER IF TAPION USES MK >.> I just realized something, you never countered my statements of midwesterns talking about "There are many MKs, Rofa, Bowyer, lain, TAPION, etc." thing. JtM =^] (talk) 04:27, 15 May 2009 (UTC)
Oh please, stop contradicting yourself. I never said I had "proof" you incompetent selective-reader. Tapion used Snake in his combo video JUST A FEW MONTHS AGO in OCTOBER (since we're spamming caps lock now). Stop badgering people over this shit, it's not worth anyone's time. Oh, and do you have proof that Tapion uses MK? If not, go back to bed. Blue Ninjakoopa 04:31, 15 May 2009 (UTC)
I just freaking said Midwesterns talk about how they have good Meta Knights like Bowyer, Rofa, lain, Tapion. He has natural skill so even though he had used Snake, he mains Meta Knight now. Yes, Tapion mains Meta Knight. I'm not saying he doesn't use Snake, I'm just saying he mains Meta Knight. Need any more clarifying? JtM =^] (talk) 04:36, 15 May 2009 (UTC)
Let me repeat the "freaking" question: DO YOU HAVE PROOF THAT TAPION MAINS META KNIGHT? YOU KNOW, LIKE A LINK OR SOMETHING? THAT WOULD BE NICE, THANKS. Blue Ninjakoopa 04:39, 15 May 2009 (UTC)
does "we have such good MKs, Bowyer, Rofa, lain, Tapion" not answer your question? I'm sure instead of getting mad at me, you could actually LOOK THROUGH SWF OR "BO X7"S BLOG ABOUT MK PRACTICE. JtM =^] (talk) 04:48, 15 May 2009 (UTC)

No, it does not answer the fucking question. LINK. NAO. Blue Ninjakoopa 04:51, 15 May 2009 (UTC)

I thought that lain mains Ice Climbers, not MK. Y462 (TCE ) 05:18, 15 May 2009 (UTC)
He uses MK for certain Matchups, Y462. Why can't you getting off your lazy ass and ASK AROUND. I have to go to school in a few mins so I don't have time to post a link. But you can just go ask people who plays Tapion if he mains MK. JtM =^] (talk) 13:40, 15 May 2009 (UTC)

Take this argument to the IRC next time. :P - GalaxiaD Talk 19:53, 15 May 2009 (UTC)

You mean that place you're never on? Blue Ninjakoopa 21:38, 15 May 2009 (UTC)
Has it anything to do with your discussion...? Metalink187 (talk) 21:56, 15 May 2009 (UTC)

Not really. It was more, are proffesionals better than most people, if they are is there a way to find out? Stridentgear 03:20, 17 May 2009 (UTC)

Not comparable. A proffessional gets paid, so he is very skilled. However, there could be an equally skilled non-proffessional who never goes to tournies. Too many extraneous variables to truly measure (Wow, I'm starting to sound like Spock or something...)L33t Silvie I see wat u did thar... 03:48, 17 May 2009 (UTC)

BNK/JTM: Not here, please. SG: Yes. Just go to Youtube, find the Ken vs PC Chris MLG final; it's the best series ever played. Then go to Youtube and search for smash videos with <1000 views. That's how you find out. Semicolon (talk) 09:39, 17 May 2009 (UTC)

Think of it like this. Whats the difference between a marsh and a swamp, or a lake from a pond, or a sea with an ocean. Learner4 (talk) 17:10, 18 May 2009 (UTC)

That Ken vs PC was pretty intense. I know the difference, because it's mostly based off experience of how much you played and for the <1000, they probably owned the game for only a year or three. And Learner4, those analogies are kinda confusing. But I think you're trying to say that a pond and and a sea are cut from the same cloth as the lake and ocean but are smaller. I can't really compare the marsh and swamp because either one can be bigger than the other, but a swamp has trees so it kinda makes sense. Stridentgear 20:39,18 May 2009 (UTC)
