Hello Everyone ! I'm having some trouble here...

I've seen the F5 video and I noticed that tilts are more useful than I thought. (Link's and Marth's D-tilt) However, my playstyle nearly don't rely to tilts cause I can't to them quickly. Lots of tilts I try to do turn into smash attacks. So, do you guys have any idea to perform them easily and quickly ? Metalink187 (talk) 11:49, 8 January 2009 (UTC)

Try this: hold your down stick just 1-2 seconds before you perform the attack. That's what happens when I try to do a smash attack... :-P Friedbeef1 Ho ho ho! 12:50, 8 January 2009 (UTC)

Youre seriously having trouble dtilting? Just squat and press down on the c-stick and it should do a dtilt. JtM =^] (talk) 15:02, 8 January 2009 (UTC)

Do you use a GameCube controller? If you need to pull of a tilt really quick (as in don't have time to hold the control stick), you can change the C-Stick to "Attack" instead of "Smash." Also, if you know you have time to use the move (ex. setting up Snake's ftilt as a finisher), then gently lean the control stick until just before your character starts to move.--Meta-K (talk) 15:30, 8 January 2009 (UTC)

Sometimes you can encounter this problem. Just wait until your character crouches (like the others said) and WHA<! you have done a dtilt. If you have problems with utilts, setup your controller so that you don't do tap jumps if you are not a "tap jumper." If you are a "tap jumper," then do what Meta-K said. MY problem is with doing utilts. I always either jump or do an upsmash. This is annoying when playing with Marth, for example, whose utilt is MUCH more useful than his upsmash. Help, please! Bek The Conqueror (talk) 22:47, 8 January 2009 (UTC)

What SapphireKirby said: turn Tap Jumps off. - GalaxiaD Talk 23:04, 8 January 2009 (UTC)
Just turn off tap jump. It doesn't really help you anyway. Cheezperson {talk}stuff 06:49, 9 January 2009 (UTC)
