Forums: Index Brawl Talk Sylux?

Sylux was the strongest and hardest hunter to beat in Story Mode in Metroid Prime Hunters. Its ship, the Delano 7, was rumored to be the ship seen in the ending of Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. I don't see why Sylux wasn't even considered to be playable. It also would've had a good role in the SSEMintstarr (Mintstarr) 19:39, July 27, 2010 (UTC)

That is so wrong in every way. Should Sylux be included, the other hunters would be too, which would over represent the game and the series. On here, you say that Sakurai is overrepresenting his series, but 6 new characters from one game isn't overrepresenting? Add that to the three hunters from MP3. Sylux was easy, if controlled by human or CPU, in comparison to Trace, who can easily dominate with sniping and even as a CPU, is stronger. Cheapness would be taken in as well, as all of the hunters have a cheap weapon of some kind (Sylux can asorb HP, Trace would have to give massive damage sniping, Spire would have to climb or shoot grenades that cause fire damage when contacted with, Noxus's and Rhunda's easy freezing powers, Kanden's cheap electric ball, Weavel's ability to have an automatic turrent, (wow, you haven't considered this stuff at all)). This is a flawed forum, as one of your points on the other forum counters what you say on here.--MegaTron1XD:p 06:12, July 28, 2010 (UTC)
Also, even if a character is hard in their games, that doesn't mean they'll be good characters (Bowser, MK, and several others).--MegaTron1XD:p 06:22, July 28, 2010 (UTC)
I rushed into the last text and didn't consdider what was wrong. Still, Sylux only appears in one game, which doesn't make him a good choice for Brawl. Your idea about overrepresenting is countered by you, as 9 hunters would have to be included to make this fair, which would make the series and those 2 games over represented.--MegaTron1XD:p 06:30, July 28, 2010 (UTC)

Actually all nine hunters don't have to be added. Samus is a bounty hunter but she was the only hunter in all 3 games. Zero Suit Samus also was listed for one game too. Sylux did become easier after you aquired more upgrades but when you first encounter him he's hard. If Sylux doesn't work a popular choice is Rundas. No one cares about the rest they were rude. That would be a bad choice. If you add Sylux, Nintendo would have to add 9. Every character in SSBB appeared in over 4 games or so. It would be a bad choice to add 9 hunters for their single appearance. Even so, all 9 equally deserve to be in. You don't even know how many games Samus appeared in. She apppeared in every metroid game, got that? That is common knowledge. METROID PRIME ISN'T THE ONLY GAME IN THE METROID FRANCHISE. Samus appeared in all games, Zero Suit Samus is seen in 5. Spire and Noxus were good and were obviously more polite than Sylux, who stole weapony and actually kills Federation Units. Rhundas is essentially Noxus but cooler to some. Nintendo would have to add several hunters, and not essentially the ones that you think deserve to be in. Sylux and Rhundas are not harder in boss fights, even then, no matter how hard they are, it won't affect the character. If anything, Nintendo wouldn't choose them, as they appeared in 1 game, as opposed to the other characters in different franchises. You must realize that coolness does not matter. Mewtwo is cooler than Jiggly, but who got in SSBB? There is a wiki about this, in case you all so misinformed that you can't even THINK about all of the metroid games and the fact tat they're 5 games in the prime series. If all 9 hunters can't be added, many fans would be majorly disappointed that the ones THEY like weren't added.--MegaTron1XD:p 15:16, July 28, 2010 (UTC)

I'm not saying Rundas and Sylux were popular because they were hard. Rundas was easy. Sylux was only hard the first time he was encountered. And yes I know about all the series. Ok so maybe neither of them are ok but how do you feel if Dark Samus was in brawl? or mother brain. they both appear in more than 2 games.Mintstarr (Talk) 18:47, July 29, 2010 (UTC)

Mother Brain=boss. I don't care. Dark Samus would be like a semi clone of Samus, with a few different animations and such. Unrelated to the forum anyway. Dark Samus only appears in 2 games. Not more, just 2. --MegaTron1XD:p 21:27, July 29, 2010 (UTC)
Also, you misunderstood what I said. I never said they were popular because they were hard.--MegaTron1XD:p 21:30, July 29, 2010 (UTC)
Dark Samus appeared in the ending of Metroid Prime. And Prime 2 and 3. She would be like a semi clone of Samus but look at Falco and Lucas, not to mention Luigi, so she wouldn't be a bad choice. Mintstarr (Talk) 00:55, July 31, 2010 (UTC)
