  10. Let's put it simply. The first games I remember getting are Pokemon Firered and TWILIGHT PRINCESS. You know, the game where Ganondorf looks worse than in Ocarina of Time (which I have nothing against, it's just, TP Ganondorf still scares me) Link, on the other hand, is pure amazing.   3. I never use the Fan. Ever. Mostly because of how weak it is, but also because there are no Fan-related bonuses in Melee. The Home-run Bat, on the other hand; it causes one-hit KOs, and there is a Melee bonus that you get each time you KO with the bat (you can get it many times quickly with the one-hit KOs).   18. Often overlooked is the Bat's incredible prowess as a throwing weapon. It flies fast, KOs well under 100%, and it's the strongest throwing item in Brawl that is reusable without needing to be recaught.   25. "KREEEEENG!" Most Wonderful Sound, indeed. Although I've gradually taken a liking to the Fan's Lethal Joke Weapon properties, scoring a one-hit knockout (OHKO) with the Home-Run Bat is one of the most satisfying videogame experiences ever. A bit easier to do in multiplayer due to the sheer chaoticness arising during a match; pulling it off in single-player is amazing. A shame that it's very predictable, but the predictability of it makes actually pulling off a "home run" feel even greater! A helicopter pad, lively Pokémon that burst out of the roof exit on occasion, a nice ramp, hovering platforms, the freaking Silph Corporation company building, the music, the cameo Pokémon in the background (particularly Moltres), and the sheer nostalgia. What's not to like? Fourside is still a good stage with its snazzy UFO and dark skyline all, but SSB64's Saffron City stage is clearly the victor here.   12. I love the concept of the 75m stage but hate the playability of it... XD Anyway, Donkey (or supposedly Cranky) Kong is quite awesome indeed, and his coolness is further enhanced by the fact that fighters can't damage him on the stage.   13. Although I love the designs of the Fighting Alloy Team a bit better, the Fighting Polygon Team is classic and nostalgic. I mean, just hearing the announcer go "(Player) versus...FIGHTING POLYGON TEAM!" makes you go "Oh, cool!...wait, wut?" with the team having such an unusual name (in both English and Japanese). The exaggerated purple polygon designs only add to the charm of these "Dummy Combo/Corps." small fry. And honestly, these guys can be quite challenging/annoying on the Very Hard level/setting in SSB 64's 1P mode. Imagine if a "Fighting Polygon Team" modeled after Melee or Brawl[='s=] characters were to exist in Multi-Man Melee/Brawl mode... *shudders* Oh, and their accompanying "Duel Zone" music rocks your socks off. 72.3.33.48 14:27, 26 April 2012 (EDT)
