Forums: Index Watercooler SmashWikiz kk?

So since I recently promised to stop trolling I have to find other ways to entertain myself on this site. And since banning people for not being from Argentina isn't really a good idea either, I decided to go another route. Here, I present my official petition to change the name of this site from SmashWiki to SmashWikiz. Note the "Z" at the end. I think this would be a great way to excite new users and give old users something new. Here are the top five reasons to add this:

  1. This will make me happy and I'll stop trolling entirely for a few weeks (weekz)
  2. Mad Cow disease is invading the United States
  3. 13375poolR might not know what happened and go away
  4. Gold has been found in the old west
  5. Itz teh wikiz, kk?

So, tell me what you guys think. Semicolon (talk) 05:42, February 11, 2010 (UTC)

Humouring you for a moment...
  1. If you say so.
  2. I'm Canadian; the US does not concern me.
  3. He hasn't been here for a while; you can't fix problems that don't exist at the moment.
  4. Ooo, gold! Send in RED and BLU to pick it up. ????? Profit!
  5. It's a common fallacy that adding "z" to the end of things makes them cooler. Just look at some of the shovelware out there.
However, I would agree to changing the wiki's logo to something more wiki-like. Maybe a Wikipedia-style jigsaw sphere with a Smash Ball's paint job and the universal symbols on each piece. Toomai Glittershine Toomai.png The Table Designer 13:31, February 11, 2010 (UTC)
The wiki's name doesn't need to change, but the "Wikipedia-style jigsaw sphere with a Smash Ball's paint job and the universal symbols on each piece" (which shall henceforth be known as "Toomai's idea") sounds pretty cool... Could you, or anyone you know, design such a logo? If so, and if possible, rough sketches of what it would look like would be nice, so that the community/Admins can decide whether or not to go for it.
Also, if we really do need to change the name of the wiki, "teh samshwikia" would be much better, as I've actually seen people other than you and CHawk call the wiki that. PenguinofDeath 15:23, February 11, 2010 (UTC)
You realize this is a joke forum. 98.117.158.220 04:59, February 12, 2010 (UTC)
What are you talking about...? Of course I know it was created as a joke, but Toomai's idea was serious. PenguinofDeath 11:15, February 12, 2010 (UTC)

Name changing is an old idea, first conceived in the kingdom of Ma'Ruf. Basically, a wise sheep slaughterer who was trying to roll the carcasses down the mountainside to collect the diamonds on the hills. Well, being called a sheep slaughterer isn't exactly the best way to entice the populous to vote for him to become the new chancellor of sentient rights for non-human parties. So he decided to change his profession to being called Diamondz-Sheepz, and he got rich. And that's the story of how Cleopatra got assassinated by a snake. Stay thirsty my friends. 13375poolR (talk) 03:36, February 12, 2010 (UTC)
I thought the slaughterer's dad invented it. That's what I heard in school. 98.117.158.220 04:58, February 12, 2010 (UTC)
There has never been a kingdom of Ma'Ruf. Your "history" lessons were better when you cobbled together unrelated bits of real history. PenguinofDeath 11:15, February 12, 2010 (UTC)
PoolR and I were joking. 98.117.158.220 04:41, February 13, 2010 (UTC)
13375poolR's history lessons used to contain real history, but jumbled together to make concurrent people or events that were in fact centuries apart, which was funny. Lately his stories have become rather lackluster, and he is increasingly resorting to simply inventing new history (for example, making up kingdoms) which is boring, as anyone could do that. My previous comment was a more succinct way of saying what I have just said. I never said that either you or he were serious, just that I'm getting bored of his antics. Please stop presuming that I'm a moron. PenguinofDeath 11:42, February 13, 2010 (UTC)
Sorry. I don't think you're a moron.98.117.158.220 19:43, February 13, 2010 (UTC)

Dear. PenguinOfDeath,

I can only presume that you are named after John Worthsdale, the man who, of course, discovered penguins and hypothesized (and met his doom by it, as we all know) that penguins shot poisonous darts from their pineal glands (oh! the irony, as he was a great student of Descartes, who, in his folly, failed to realized that the gland itself was not the carrier of conscious thought but rather of darts laced with hemlock (which is a further irony in that Descartes was a great student of Socrates!)) and I must say you have failed to live up to his curiosity, and his fortitude, inter alia, and I do protest your statements about the kingdom of Ma'Ruf. I have both been there and happen to be on very amiable terms with its Pontifex Maximus. We went to a lovely cocktail party at the Maha Zaydee pagoda (in full costume, of course). I was dressed as Guthrum the Dane (for I happen to have the frame, though not the same turns of fate he had, what with his spectacular strategy at the Battle of Ethandun where he finally put an end to Czar Alexander's tyrannical rule of Siam with a daring charge of his Light Brigade, crushing Alexander's left flank and routing his Aztec hoplite mercenaries) so I was quite recognizable, and I am sure that plenty would attest to my being there.

In the future, please check your facts before making accusations. Regards, 13375poolR (talk) 07:29, February 14, 2010 (UTC)
