Why are Plusle & Minun only partially programed instead of fully playable.Time constraints or they don't want a Ice climbers/Pichu??? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.34.108.13 (talkcontribs) 03:28, 3 March 2008 (UTC)

They weren't. Pra + Mai don't have ANYTHING TO DO WITH PLUSLE AND MINUN. Just because the names start with the same letter... geez. Max2 —Preceding unsigned comment added by Max2 (talkcontribs) 20:34, 3 March 2008 (UTC)

Several characters were only partially programmed. These are all of them: Dixie (Kong), Dr. Mario, Roy, Toon Zelda. Toon Sheik, Pra Mai (Plusle/Minum?), and Mewtwo. These characters were found after people dumped Brawl onto a computer to see all the files. Thats how you can download the OST. Anyway I suppose time constraints forced them to stop finishing more charaters. It is evident they wanted to make all these characters but they all appear to be clone-ish to me. Except Pra-Mia, who we can assume to be Plusle and Minum, I'm talkin to you Max2! Plusle and Minum would probably have been a unique mix but maybe we'll see them next time around :) Bonko24 04:40, 6 March 2008 (UTC)

plusle and minun woulde just be pichu all over again. a ANNOYANCE! anyway, with plusle and minun in brawl, there would be a massive overload of pokemon in the game. there already is one, if you haven't noticed!

Really, unsigned user? I think they could use some more....
As for OP, I heard that mewtwo and Roy were only there as placeholders because they copied all the character data from Melee as a base, so that doesn't necessarily mean they were meant to be playable....- Gargomon251 02:32, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

Its not like they were able to use these characters, were they? Dark Overlord 04:13, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

Maybe someone could program the rest of the characters that were only partially programmed, and hack the game to use them! It might sound ridiculous and a total waste of time, but think of the possibilities! We could use the base data of the characters to make completely new ones! PeetzaLink 22:03, 2 April 2008 (UTC)

Well, I think that it could have been a nice addition, the only Poke'mon guaranteed to be a double, Plussle attacks, while Minum cheers you both on using flags (Plusle and you), then they switch so Minum attacks, repeat so Plusle attacks, switch again, Minum attacks, then they both attack for one powerful attack which after, they finally give one last cheer for you. If they did it like that, then it could have worked perfectly. Learner3 13:09, 8 April 2008 (UTC)

So only one attacks at a time? And why flags? I don't see the point of them being playable if that's all. - Gargomon251 19:03, 8 April 2008 (UTC)

of all the characters mentioned here, I really only care for Roy and Toon Zelda/Sheik. PeetzaLink 20:20, 8 April 2008 (UTC)

Well Actually, I was thinking that Plusle and Minum appeared from a Poke'ball. Not playable characters. And by double Poke'mon, we know how sometimes (sometimes) Latios and Latias come from the same Poke'ball. Well, other times you just get Latios, or just Latias. Plusle and Minum would be the one and only pair of Poke'mon that will always (always) be double Poke'mon inside the same Poke'mon. Adding this and by past comment, it could have worked out well. I would like to point out that Plusle's Japanese name is Prasle. That explains the "Pra." Oddly, Minun's Japanese name is. . ."Minun." --Posted by Pikamander2 (Talk) at 20:29, 16 April 2008 (UTC)
