Forum:List of guns article?

So after reading the list of swords article, I looked over at the characters and Smash and had a thought: Is there enough to warrant a list of guns article? Here's a list of the ones I'm talking about:

• Fox/Falco/Wolf's blasters
• Captain Falcon's gun that he never uses
• Samus and Mii Gunner's arm cannons
• The Ray Gun
• The Super Scope
• Maybe Steel Diver
• Maybe Duck Hunt's Hogan's Alley move and the hunter's target cursors
• Snakes weapons, specifically his forward smash, forward special, and Final Smash
• Mega Man's arm gun
• Saki Amamiya's gun
• Infantry and Tanks' guns
• Ray MK III's
• Dark Samus' arm cannon
• Diddy's Peanut Popgun
• Potentially the Dark Pit Staff
• Possibly Daybreak

The only reason I made the "List of swords" page was because people kept trying to make elaborate history sections for swordfighters' swords which weren't needed (e.g. Marth doesn't need a whole elaborate section on Falchion's backstory). I'm not sure how needed this is for other types of weapons, although I'm open to hearing what people have to say. Miles (talk) 22:26, 30 November 2015 (EST)

For the record: We used to maintain individual articles for each sword, because the Master Sword had its own trophy in SSBM and people used that as a springboard to say all the other named swords deserved pages. Eventually we decided that was a dumb idea and merged all such pages into the character pages (and now apparently into a page of its own). The key here in my opinion is that the swords are (mostly?) all named weapons, many of which are a major element of a character's/game's mythos, whereas most of the guns are just guns (as evidenced by pretty much everything in your suggested list being of the form "X's gun").
