Final Battle Team-Up is a co-op event match in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. Both players must choose a character and take on playable antagonists as well as Link and Samus in their dark alternate costumes, and Meta Knight in his navy alternate costume.

Progression

This event is unlocked by clearing An Offering of Coins. Completing the event on its own does not unlock any further paths. However, after both the event is completed and all characters are unlocked, the down path is revealed.

Completing the event on hard difficulty awards 5000G.

Trivia

  • Wario and Bowser Jr. are the only playable antagonists to not appear in this event.
  • Meta Knight and Dark Pit appear as villains in this match, but they are both considered anti-heroes rather than villains (as the rest of the characters are). However, Meta Knight uses his dark blue alternate costume with red eyes, and although this does not match the color scheme of Dark Meta Knight from Kirby and the Amazing Mirror, this costume may have been used due to its "evil" appearance. Likewise, he did appear as the main antagonist of the Kirby Super Star mini-game "Revenge of Meta Knight" as well as generally being a recurring boss enemy in the Kirby series- so he could arguably count as a villain.
