All-Star Battle x1 is the 20th solo event match out of a total of 41 in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. The player gets to choose which character to fight with against eight characters who all made their Smash Bros. debut in this game and playable from the start. When the player KOs an opponent, there is a short delay before the next opponent appears due to loading times. Only two opponents are fought at a time.
