Sleeping in the Eggs (たまごの中でおやすみ, A Rest in the Eggs) is the 12th solo event match out of a total of 41 in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. In this event, the player must play as Yoshi and use Egg Lay on both Kirby and Pikachu, so that both are trapped in eggs simultaneously. Harder difficulties will cause Pikachu and Kirby to break out of the eggs faster, which makes having them both in eggs at the same time harder.
Trivia
- Similar to how Jigglypuff must put Ness, Toon Link, & Bowser Jr. all to sleep at the same time with its up special in It's Past Your Bedtime! in Smash 4, so too does Yoshi having to trap both Pikachu & Kirby in eggs at the same time with his neutral special.
- Both characters of which have the fastest air speeds by default.
- This solo event is similar to the Melee event Event 13: Yoshi's Egg because both events have Yoshi as the assigned character, both events have Pikachu as one of the opponents, and both have something to do with the Yoshi egg from the Yoshi universe.
