The other 2 are located on the branch of the dead tree on the left. The platform technically counts as 2, as the center of it is solid. The main platform, as well as most of the dead tree (minus the aforementioned platforms on the branch) are hard platforms, and either edge of the main platform is grab-able.

There is a very small wall near the right edge that can sometimes mess players up, particularly during a transformation. The main platform is grab-able on both edges, and the boulder is grab-able from the left.

They will rise when a player stands on them, and will fall to their original position otherwise. The main platform is composed of a few different parts: there is a tower located in the center of the stage, with a top-most platform, as well as 2 short slanted platforms located a bit lower on either side. The stage then flattens out, then slants downward on either side. The main platform is grab-able on either edge.

  • Terrain: This stage features multiple wood, light-metal, snow, ice, and rock terrains.
  • Notes: Although this stage may seem similar to the adventure mode map, they are actually 2 entirely different stages with the same theme. This stage moves the player around by shifting the camera up and down at various speeds. In this way, the stage is completely loaded during the initial load. The camera will never exceed the upper or lower limits of the stage. The adventure mode map, however, works differently. The camera can only get shifted upwards, and the stage is not completely loaded at any time. Instead, the stage will loop, loading a new section each time the camera gets to the top edge. Because of this, the stage has many more varieties.

The stage also has 3 clouds that act as soft platforms. They are located one on the left of the stage, and 2 on the right (spaced really far apart). These cloud platforms will disappear after being stood on for a while, then reappear after a short time.

Adventure Mode: Mushroom KingdomEdit

Mushroom Kingdom is split into 3 part.

  • Blast Zone: Mushroom Kingdom has a moderate size blast box that follows the camera.
  • Spawn Points: The spawn point is located on the very first rock in the stage. Spawn points are located 1 on the right side of the first section, 1 in the middle of the second section, and 1 above the central platform where Yoshis are fought in the third section. There are 4 exit points around the Yoshi fight area, used to trigger the fight. There is also the one at the end of section 3 that ends the match.
  • Item Spawn Points: There are 4 item spawn points arranged in a line near the top of the camera box. They follow the camera.
  • Trophy Spawn Points: There are 10 trophy spawn points. In the first section, they are located: 1 above the larger pillar, and 1 above the right-most incline. In the second section, they are located: 1 above the block formation, 1 above the incline left-of-center, 1 on the platform below the larger one, and 1 above the middle soft aerial platform. In the third section, they are located: 1 on the 2nd aerial platform before the Yoshi fight, 1 on the lower ground past the Yoshi fight (and 1 above it), and 1 on the platform before the end of the stage.
  • Enemy Spawn Points: There are several enemy spawn points (6 in the first section, 27 in the second section, and 6 in the third section). They spawn Koopas, Paratroopas, and Goombas:
  • Section 1: 1 left-of-center on the low ground, 1 on the high pillar, 4 above and below the breakable blocks on the right, and 2 on the incline on the far-right.
  • Section 2: 4 beneath the breakable block formation on the left, 2 on the incline just past that, 3 on the lower ground just past that, 1 above sharp dip, center stage, 4 on the lower platform, 3 above the left middle set of breakable blocks, 2 on both the left and middle soft aerial platforms, 1 on the middle pillar, 2 on the right-most pillar (and 2 above it), and 1 above the right set of breakable blocks.
  • Section 3: 1 on the 2nd aerial platform before the Yoshi fight, 3 on the lower ground past the Yoshi fight (and 1 above it), and one on the cliff before the end of the stage.
  • Platforms: Throughout the stage, there are several breakable blocks. In the second section, there are 3 soft platforms located towards the right, and each of the pillars have grab-able edges. The third section has 5 soft platforms on the left (3 before the Yoshi fight, and 2 during), and the platform used for the Yoshi fight is fully grab-able.
  • Terrain: The tops of the pillars typically have dirt terrain, but the center of a few have wooden terrain. The platforms in the middle of the second section have grass terrain, while the lower large platform has wooden terrain. The soft platforms throughout the stage all have dirt terrain. The Yoshi platform has grass terrain, and the elevated platform (2nd from the exit) has wooden terrain. The rest of the stage has basic terrain.

Adventure Mode: Underground MazeEdit

  • Blast Zone: The maze has a moderate size blast box that follows the camera.
  • Spawn Points: The spawn point is located in a small room on the left that leads to the central room. The respawn point is located above the camera box and another on a soft platform in the center room. The camera box one is used for the Link fights only (it follows the camera box). The other one is used for all other deaths. There are 2 exit points in each fight room. Only one is active per room. The lower ones are always exit points for the Triforce, and the upper ones are used to transition to the Link fights.
  • Item Spawn Points: There are 3 item spawn points located near the blast box. They follow the camera.
  • Trophy Spawn Points: There are 9 trophy spawn points located in the center and grass room, and in hallways.
  • Enemy Spawn Points: There are 36 enemy spawn points throughout the stage. They are located in the central, fire, and grass rooms as well as the hallways, typically on soft platforms or on the ground in hallways. There are no spawn points in the Link fight rooms. They spawn Octoroks, Redeads, and Like-Likes.
  • Platforms: All the Link fights rooms have grab-able edges. Most edges in this stage are grab-able if they are elevated enough. There are 39 aerial soft platforms in this stage.
  • Terrain: Most of this stage has dirt terrain, but there are a few exceptions. The bottom of the central room has water terrain, and the grass room has light-metal edges and a wooden center.

Adventure Mode: Brinstar Escape ShaftEdit

Brinstar Escape Shaft is split into 6 sections by semi-soft platforms.

  • Blast Zone: The Escape Shaft has a wide and tall blast box.
  • Spawn Points: The spawn point is at the bottom right in the first section, and the respawn point follows player 1. The exit point is on the platform at the very top in the sixth section.
  • Item Spawn Points: Oddly, there is a single item spawn point in the center of the first section.
  • Trophy/Enemy Spawn Points: There are 5 trophy spawn points: 1 towards the top of the first section, 1 on a platform in the second section, 1 on a platform towards the top of the third section, and 1 on either side of the sixth section.
  • Platforms: There are several soft platforms throughout the stage, but no grab-able ones.
  • Terrain: Almost all hard platforms have basic terrain, while the aerial platforms have light metal terrain.

Adventure Mode: Grand PrixEdit

  • Blast Zone: Grand Prix has a moderate size blast box that follows the camera.
  • Spawn Points: The spawn point is at the far left of the stage. Respawn points in this stage act like check points. They are located on the aerial platforms, specifically, the third, fourth, and sixth platforms, as well as the upper aerial platform after the big gap. The exit point is located at the end of the stage.
  • Item Spawn Points: Item spawn points behave oddly here. All but one are unused. When there are no players on the stage, there are 4 arranged in a line near the middle of the stage. When there are players, there are 3, 1 placed on the ground before the fifth aerial platform, 1 located in about the same place as before, just after the gap, and 1 located under the stage, right where the hill between platforms 4 and 5 is. This point is used to spawn the F-Zero Racers.
  • Trophy/Enemy Spawn Points: There are 5 trophy spawn points: 1 above the start line, 1 above the aforementioned hill, 1 just after the hill, 1 above the upper platform past the big gap, and 1 below the last platform before the stage ends.
  • Platforms: In addition to the hard main platform, there is also a hard platform making up the start line, and 5 more crossing the big gap. Of these, there is one platform in the gap with grab-able edges, and the main platform (on either side) also has them. The 3 smaller platforms at the end of the gap are actually semi-soft. There are also 7 soft platforms throughout the stage.
  • Terrain: The entire stage has basic terrain.

Adventure Mode: Icicle MountainEdit

  • Blast Zone: Icicle Mountain has a large blast box, but it is easy to get to each side of it due to all the platforms. This stage has walk-offs on both sides at several different points. Oddly, it is possible to Self Destruct on the upper blast line, unlike any other stage.
  • Spawn Points: Spawn points, oddly, are located 4 in each section of the stage. Respawn points, however, follow the frame and are arranged 4 in a straight line in the center of the camera box.
  • Item Spawn Points: There are 8 item spawn points: 5 arranged in an arc above 3 more arranged in a triangle. These points, like the spawn and respawn points, follow the screen. These points also follow the screen.
  • Trophy Spawn Points:
  • Part 1: There are 4 trophy spawn points: 1 in the middle of the 3rd level platform, 1 on the right of the left-most 6th level platform, 1 above the right-most 10th level platform, and 1 above and on the right of the 11th level platform.
  • Part 2: There are 3 trophy spawn points: 1 on the left of the 1st, 3rd, and 7th level platforms.
  • Part 3: There are 4 trophy spawn points: 1 on the left of the 2nd and 5th level platforms, 1 in the center of the slanted left-most 8th level platform, and 1 on the left of the right-most 9th level platform.
  • Part 4: There are 4 trophy spawn points: 1 on the right of the left-most 3rd level platform, 1 in the center of the slanted right-most 4th level platform, 1 on the right of the 7th level platform, and 1 on the left of the right-most 9th level platform.
  • Enemy Spawn Points:
  • Part 1: There are 3 enemy spawn points: 1 to the left of the right-most 6th level platform, 1 on the right of the left-most 8th level platform, and to the right of the 13th level platform.
  • Part 2: There are 3 enemy spawn points: 1 above and on the right of the 1st level platform, and 1 in the middle of either 6th level platform.
  • Part 3: There are 5 enemy spawn points: 1 on the right of the 1st level platform, 1 on the left of the 3rd and 5th level platforms, 1 on the right of the left-most 7th level platform, and 1 in the middle of the middle 9th level platform.
  • Part 4: There are 4 enemy spawn points: 1 in the middle of the middle 1st level platform, 1 on either side of the 7th level platform, and 1 on the left of the 10th level platform.
  • Platforms: This stage has several soft platforms, but no grab-able edges. The ice cubes found throughout the stage can be destroyed.
  • Terrain: This stage features multiple wood, light-metal, snow, ice, and rock terrains.
  • Notes: Although this stage may seem similar to the versus mode map, they are actually 2 entirely different stages with the same theme. The camera can only get shifted upwards, and the stage is not completely loaded at any time. Instead, the stage will loop, loading a new section each time the camera gets to the top edge. Because of this, the stage has many more varieties. The versus mode map, however, works differently. It moves the player around by shifting the camera up and down at various speeds. In this way, that stage is completely loaded during the initial load.

Special Stage: Race to the FinishEdit

  • Spawn Points: The spawn point is located at the very top left corner of the maze. The respawn points act very strangely in this stage. The stage was never meant to support it. There are 3, 2 of which are out of bounds. The in-bounds one is located in just before the pit in the lower branch. Another is located far out of bounds on the left of the stage. The last one is located out of bounds aligned with the neutral position for the blast lines. It and the item spawn points do not follow the blast box, though. The stage has 22 exit points, positioned on each door, and oddly, a 23rd point that follows the frame.
  • Item Spawn Points: There are 4 item spawn points as mentioned above. They are out of bounds at all times.
  • Trophy Spawn Points: There are a total of 10 trophy spawn points throughout the map.
  • Platforms: The maze has no grab-able edges, but it does have various soft platforms, especially at the beginning and at the pit branch.
  • Terrain: The whole stage has basic terrain.

Special Stage: Trophy CollectorEdit

  • Blast Zone: Trophy Collector has a medium blast box.
  • Spawn Points: There is one spawn point on the trophy capture platform.

  • Platforms: There are 2 soft aerial platforms above the main platform. In the center of the main platform is the trophy capture platform. It has the special property of being hard to characters, but non-existent to trophies. The main platform does not have grab-able edges.
  • Terrain: The middle portion of the main platform has heavy-metal terrain, while the trophy capture platform, aerial platforms, and edges have basic terrain.

Special Stage: All-Star Rest AreaEdit
