How long does it usually take...Edit

...for notability-based deletion candidates to be deleted? No one has argued in favor of the pages staying, and I'd say its been more than a month since most of these were listed. John   PK SMAAAASH!! 17:36, 12 September 2015 (EDT)

In terms of the final decision, it's usually this guy who takes care of them. Miles has deleted blatantly vanity ones or ones that others have done research on, but it's usually OT that takes care of others.  Aidan, Master of Speed and Aura  18:50, 12 September 2015 (EDT)
Are vanity articles supposed to be moved to the speedy deletion section? A couple of these are vanity articles dating back years. John   PK SMAAAASH!! 22:18, 13 September 2015 (EDT)

MergeEdit

{{Notable}} is the same idea as {{Delete}}, where a discussion takes place, a consensus is reached, and then the page is kept or deleted. Basically it's a variant of {{Delete}} for non-notable articles. If this category is merged, then {{Notable}} will have its category reflectively changed, and this category will be removed from {{MaintenanceLinks}}. So, what are your opinions? This is a complete non-starter, the notability template and this category was created to intentionally separate notability-based deletions for competitive-based articles from standard wiki deletion fare, when the reason for deletion is centered around a specific reason (read SW:NOTE) and when articles tagged for notability requires competitive expertise to properly review. As the admin who does most of the notability reviews here, all this does is makes that job more difficult and makes it more difficult for other competitive users, when we can't immediately see the articles tagged for notability, while also annoying non-competitive users when the standard deletion category gets cluttered with Smasher/Tournament/Crew articles tagged for notability that they can't give any meaningful input on and often won't even care about in the first place.
